Animal Kingdom Lodge to Legoland

Hi! We are going to Disney World at the end of January. One of the days we would like to go over to Legoland. We will not have a car. Has anyone done this by taxi? Any suggestions would be welcomed! Thank you and Happy New Year!

A taxi is likely to cost more than $200 roundtrip.

Renting a car for 24 hours would cost far less.

There is a Legoland Shuttle (just $5 roundtrip per person), but it leaves from I-Drive 360 at 8350 Universal Boulevard, Orlando -- not from a location near AKL. The roundtrip taxi to I-Drive 360 would also be more than for a rental car.
