I just found out yesterday that we can stay in Animal Kingdom with a savannah view in a Deluxe Studio Villa buy renting points for $185 cheaper than we could stay in a standard room in preferred room at coronado springs cabanas. I was amazed.

only if the unit is available! i've been trying to book via DVC @ AK for my June dates for over a month without success (studio all categories in both jambo and kidani). I've tried switching over at the 7 month window for various trips the last few years without much success. The lower priced and concierge categories are wildly popular with members. If you want to rent, find a member who owns at the resort and book early.
