Animal Kingdom Lodge/Beach Club

I have a trip coming up in January. We will be splitting our stay between the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Beach Club Villas. Does anyone have a suggestion on what room location to request at AKL? Are there any partial IllumiNations views from the balconies at BCV?

Hi ... I'm alsp splitting a stay in Jan between the AKL and BC. The last time I stayed at AKL, we were in the Zebra trail, Arusha Savannah. I've requested the same trail and Savannah, Arusha is the "main" savannah and Zebra trail is on the pool and restaurant side of the resort. I loved our location! Good Luck!

I stayed at Beach Club and saw Illuminations over another row of buildings--it was a concierge garden room. It wasn't the villas, however...sorry, don't have experience there.

At AKL we've stayed on giraffe (pool view), Kudo? trail and Zebra Trail. All of our locations were great...I especially loved the savannah view and watching the animals sleep at night. It's amazingly peaceful in the dark.
