i stayed in the AKL for my honeymoon last october, we were in the main building and had a family suit upgrade on arrival for 2 of us,.... wasted on us lol
anyways for your questions, we didnt use the laundry service but i can confrim the fridge was the same at the other resorts ive stayed in, in a cupboard with a wooden front, the fridge is in there, a small fridge no ice machine attached, around the corner of our room was the vending machines and an ice machine, the room had an ice bucket for use same as most other resorts ive stayed in at disney.

there is also a handy AKL thread on here now, its a pretty lengthy read but it helped me through my trip.
i didnt realise that Saana Restraunt was at the Kidani village, Boma is in the main building which both restraunts i wouldnt miss. gets very busy so make a Dining ressie.
the food court has some nice selections like cous cous and rice with meals rather than chips. and the quater chicken was nice too. also had some nice flatbread meals too.
the shop has some neat AK merchandise and the resort has some buitiful scenery and animals to watch.
where you staying? savannah view room? the view was amazing waking up and seeing gazelles galloping by.
