Animal Kingdom Late Hours

I am most likely really late to the party in asking this...if so, I'm sorry for the repeat, I couldn't quickly find the info I was looking for.

I am looking at the hours for the parks in June and notice that Animal Kingdom is open til 11:00pm; no other park is open this late (unless they have EMH). Is this only because of the new night show? Is there anything else going on that late?

MUCH more-Night Safaris,Tree of Life "light shows",street parties,etc.
