We just booked animal kingdom Kidani in a standard studio for 3 nights. Is there any standards with a partial savanna view. Any room recommendations would be appreciated

Yes, some rooms on the narrow dogleg of the Pembe savanna have been reclassified standard (there’s still feeding logs in that area so animals do eat as they go back and forth) ...it’s a fun view for a standard, but it is a looooooong walk from the lobby.

And there are some half/pool and half Pembe savanna view rooms.

Online checkin should allow you to choose Pembe as a possible choice. (That’s how we got our “dogleg” room)

I’m not sure if there are any standard rooms with partial Sunset savanna.

Through MS make a request for near the Pumba elevator. If successful that will be a standard room that has been converted from savanna view, overlooking the Pembe savanna (there are no standards overlooking Sunset savanna). Just be aware that those standard rooms with a savanna view are a long way from the lobby and bus station.

Depending on room, trip to lobby is about 450 to 550 yards. Add about another 70 to get to the bus station.
