Animal Kingdom - Brunch or Dinner

I think we'll be doing AK on our first full day in Disney. We have two boys 4 and 6. Should we do a character brunch or at the end of the day do a dinner? Are their any parades/firework shows at AK?

There is a parade during the day but there are no fireworks. I think dinner would be a great idea. My family ate a small breakfast and lunch while in AK, then had a huge dinner... I think this worked in our favor because we did not miss a thing at AK.

I would recommend dinner - but dinner at AKL - BOMA - have heard good reviews about it and I will be there myself in February
