Animal Kingdom after dark in October

Our WDW vacation is set for October 21-29, 2016. We are very excited about visiting AK at night and experiencing all of the new things to do.

Do you guys think the nighttime activities will still be going on in October? The posted hours for Animal Kingdom is 8am-7pm with Sunset around 6:45pm.

I know that park hours frequently fluctuate leading up to the actual date. I just wonder if anyone had heard if the nighttime stuff was just for the summertime or if they would support it year round.

I think everyone is expecting it to continue. We're going Oct. 18-26 (see you there!), and I'm kind of making plans assuming that AK will extend to 8 p.m., at least. Although I guess they could technically close the park at 7 and still offer the show (Jungle Book... Rivers of Light... who knows?!?!) at 7 or 7:30, like they do for Fantasmic sometimes.

Same situation over at DHS, with a 7 pm closing time, and so far, no mention of Star Wars projection/fireworks show. It's making me crazy! Just making plans according to my "best guesses" at this point.
