Animal Kingdom 11 - 1 a.m.

I see that Animal Kingdom has extended hours when we are there in July. Other than the fact that it is less hot after dark (notice I didn't say cooler) what goes on that late at night?

I'd have to say it is our favorite park btw so night hours might be fun.

Only Pandora at AK will be open between 11:00p - 1:00a (EMH).

All other areas of the park will be closed to guests.

I can imagine the heat will not be from the sun but the extreme amount of bodies crammed into one small area of Animal Kingdom.

Before 11 you absolutely have to go on Safari and EE in the dark, they are like whole new experiences!

As Hiro mentioned, the 11-1am EMH are only in place due to Pandora just being opened. So I would ride what you can prior to 11:01pm, then head to Pandora

It is until July 4 that AK has extended Pandora hours.

July 3 and 4. We are there from July 2-6 with plans to use our park hopper tickets from the 3rd to 5th.

EE after dark is amazing! Try to get in a few rides before that area shuts down for the evening. Last time we did it about 9 times in a row before park closing.

With the advent of Pandora, and the number of people that I expect will be in the park before park closing, waiting for the after hours event in Pandora, I'm not entirely certain that riding EE multiple times before that area shuts down for the evening is going to be possible.
