Animal Kindgom to Boma to POR

Trying to figure out what the best way to get back to my hotel room at Port Orleans Riverside after eating at Boma at AKL. On that day, we plan on spending the whole day at Animal Kindgom, which closes at 5:00pm. We then have a reservation at Boma at 7:35pm that day. Then, some way, we need to make it back to POR after we eat, and I sure there are no resort to resort busses. I WILL have a vehicle on site.

What are my choices? The best ones I can think of is:

1. to drive over to AKL that morning and park (can I do that if I'm staying at another resort?) and then drive back after dinner. OR
2. take the bus to AK, then bus to AKL, and then bus to something like Downtown Disney and then the boat back to POR. Or
3. take the bus from AK back to POR then drive to AKL that evening (would I have enough time to do that turnaround?)

Any other options? What's going to be the best way?

My suggestion would be to drive to AK, and after the park closes just drive over to AKL. Technically you shouldn't park at any resort and then go to a park for the day, unless your willing to pay for valet parking for the day.
Option 3 could work as well, but why waste the time going back to POR, spend your extra time exploring AKL, it's a beautiful resort.

Why not park at AK? If you are staying on site its free. Then drive the car to AKL and then to POR. Probably the fastest and easiest way.
