Animal Kindgom Lodge at night

I've heard that there is "night vision" at some of the savanah's at AKL, is this true?? If so how does it work??? Also are there anything else to do at night at AKL??? Thanks!

We didn't get to use the Night Vision goggles but we did listen to the storytelling around the firepit at night. That was really fun to do!

There are at least two locations where the CMs have night vision goggles--on Arusha Rock and behind the swimming pool. The CMs will let anyone use them. Occasionally you will have to wait in line.

We used the night vision googles and the CM's were very knowledgeable and pointed everything out to us. We herd the storyteller around the firepit and it was alot of fun. Also my son participated in the little music parade in the lobby after dinner. It is alot of fun to hand around the lodge at night!!

If you have night vision on your camcorder it works the same, you don't have to share, and you can tape the animals
