Sorry. Didn't read that closely enough. You will need to write the letter and be done with it. I can't remember if it then shows your letters with what is in your pockets or if you need to open your pockets and click on the letter. Once you click on the letter that shows up in you pocket, it shows all your letters you've written or received. You just drag the gift from your pocket to the letter you want it to go to. Hope that makes more sense.

I think my husband may be the odd one he loves to watch us play. And then fishes as all of us and fills our houses with fish so that we can seel them unless it is one we don't have and then he donates it to the museum.

My husband plays - we take turns. He'sresponsible for the trees and I do the flowers. He also plays the turnip market pretty seriously!!! I'm glad....

I caught a football fish the other day. The kids thought I was crazy when I told them. I seem to be doing most of the fishing.

Congratulations - I just caught one last night also. because of that I finally got my 2nd mortgage paid off, of course when I get back to the game I'll have a bigger house and a bigger mortgage to contend with

Winter fishing seems to work out very well, but.... is anyone having any luck catching bugs? I've gotten a few from under rocks and every now & then I see one hanging from a shakened tree( i've yet to be able to catch it though), but other than that I guess bugs aren't too plentful in the winter, Can't say I blame them, right now it's 4degrees outside with the windchill at minus 15 here in Buffalo...

How do you get them from under rocks. I caught my first bug from a tree yesterday. I shook the tree and when the bug dangled I scooped it up with the net; which took me about 8 tries.

How do you get them from under rocks.

When you hit the rocks with your shovel to check for the daily lucky "bell" rock sometimes a small little bug crawls out from under it. They're not worth much at Nook's but every sale counts

Thanks for the congrats everyone. I've only caught two bugs: a centipiede and a pill bug. I caught both of them from rocks. I've seen a couple in trees but i can't catch them. I've also seen some bugs behind some snowballs but they fly away pretty quickly and my aim isn't very good with the net yet. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that there aren't many bugs in the winter. Hopefully I get better when there's more bugs.

I think that bird just means there's a new message you haven't read on the bulletin board. I might be wrong though.

ok - here goes - I hope I explain this properly.

Since I am unable to play AC on the weekends I have set my game up to play a few days behind "real" time. For example, when I played this morning, the time was correct at @ 7:00 am but the day & date were Monday January 12th. Doing this lets me take advantage of the Saturday night KK Slider event and the Sunday morning turnip sale.

So, this is my question - can I become friends with you all and can we visit back and forth even if it's not the same day on our games???

We've caught more than one football fish - I know they're worth pretty good money (or bells) - don't remember how much exactly.

We catch flies by leaving a can or tire on the beach - they attract flies.

I'm participating in my first auction this week. I have to wait and see if my item sells. After I displayed it, I read that gold shovels are a good investment (cause you buy them when their cheap and not gold, then you plant them and make them gold). I don't know how much they sell for though.
