Hi everyone! I've been posting on the Podcast boards, but Lisa pointed me in this direction. We've been playing since January. We're trying to get our grass grown (my goal is to have lots of snow just like when we first got the game).

Has anyone ever caught the bees from the hive? I think they're the only insects we're missing (except for some that have just come out in June). I caught two of those goliath (YUCCH) bugs yesterday!!

Sometimes I leave my gate open during the day when I'm at work so that it can rain if it wants to.

Our "home" fruit is cherries, but we have lots of everything.

This week in our city my basement is the model room (I'm so proud)

Greg caught a shark, I caught a hammerhead shark!

We're going away for the weekend, but at least I can rest easy this time knowing how easy it is just to re-set the Wii clock (NOT the game clock) and just work ourselves forward!! (I don't think they'd appreciate our hooking our Wii up to the TV in the common area of the B&B we're going to in Vermont)

Excellent!! How did you get the last chair?? I have not seen that anywhere. I still need a few items. I know...what a shame there is no cabin lamp. I used a lantern because it looked kinda cabinish LOL! Congrats on the model room AND those big catches!! Matt caught the hammerhead shark and a bunch of other June only things.

We are going to need a true step by step instruction to adjusting the Wii clock because Matt and I are leaving for WDW on June 28th now!!!

BTW, I have the HTF cabin chair (thanks Susan!) and can order it for anyone who needs it.

No time to play yesterday because I was busy at neurologist appt (I have migraines, not issues related to the spinal stenosis....yay! lol) and getting Annika ready for her 20 day trip to Oregon. She flies out at 2:00 this afternoon. I'll really miss her but have to say I am looking forward to some "me" time. Scott leaves for 10 days on Thursday so I will be all alone for 10 days. With the exception of my road trip on Saturday to see Coldplay and Snow Patrol I plan on watching lots of movies and playing lots (and lots) of AC - you'll all be sick of me visiting your towns.


By the way, an update on my other health issues for those who know about them....the neurosurgeon I saw last week feels my spinal stenosis is not advanced enough at this point to warrant surgery (another yay!) and he wants me to just continue with my physical therapy and do more epidural steroid injections as needed whenever they are allowed. The surgeon that does them doesn't like to do more than 1 series of 3 every 6 months. I have an EMG test confused3) this Thursday to test the nerves in my left arm to see where the numbness in my hand is coming from. My physical therapist suspects an impingement syndrome in my left shoulder (probably also due to arthritis/bone spurs) and if the testing on Thursday supports that then I guess my shoulder is the next body part I start getting poked and prodded.

Damn - if this is my body at 41, I am frightened to consider what things will be like in 20 years!! I'll probably be one big lump of arthritic bone spur with crippling headaches.

Hi Guys -

I have a few more questions for you:

1) How do I acknowledge a neighbor's birthday? Since the town bulletin board suggests that I wish "so and so" a Happy Birthday - how do I do that? I tried just making conversation and wasn't given any sort of birthday option. Is there any way to give a gift?

2) Is the shopper's card just a debit card, or is it a credit card? Do I have to have the money in the bank to cover it, or can I purchase things on credit?

BTW - I finally got a silver axe from Serena. I must have have to give up about 50 regular axes to get a silver one - not gold, but no complaints

We had a power outtage yesterday and when I got back onto AC:CF, I was scared half to death by a mole-type creature scolding me for not shutting down properly. To steal a quote from a previous poster - I nearly wet myself!

Keri - I hope your health problems get better. Maybe it's just 40 that sees a dramatic drop, then much more slowly after that. My DH just turned 40 and is complaining that all of a sudden his body is shutting down.

Laura - I see you met Resetti! He's such a pain. I'm jealous of the axe, I have no clue how many I've gone through, but you give me hope.

I just went to the City to see your room but it was not there .....and it was MY kitchen....which you basically furnished so your kitchen is the model room!!! I could not have done it without you, Lois!!! Thanks!!
