On our trip to Sea World in February, we participated in the dolphin feeding. My DD10 ran out of fish but still tried to pat the next dolphin- he was not too happy with her!!!

Looks like your daughter picked up her paper tray off the wall. The dolphin was trying to grab it out of her hand. Which is why they tell you not to pick up the paper tray, because the dolphins are usually pretty successful at grabbing the trays from your hand.
