angry and need to vent!

Well done you and get yourself some rest. Just think of all the nice things you have to look forward to in August.

:rotfl: your original post did make me giggle, I didn't get a Valentine's gift nor did I get an Easter egg, he only shared some of his egg with me and that's after 10 years of marriage.

My DH is looking over my shoulder whilst I send this too.

Hope you are feeling better.

Well done you for going to the dentist :thumbsup2 hope you're feeling better now
On another note - As a member of "that other gender" (and dangerously in the minority on here ;)), I feel inclined to say that I've known just as many girls who have behaved in the ways described in some of the previous posts as I've known guys and indeed I've also known some quite thoughtful guys and girls. So - we're not all as has been described :rolleyes1:tiptoe:

That's very true ~ I didn't get my DH an Easter egg although I did feel a bit guilty when he presented me with one ........ for about 5 minutes

Well done on going through with getting your teeth out even with a fear of dentists. My DD is waiting on her appointment to get two teeth out under GA, they are actually two baby teeth that won't budge and her adult teeth have came in and grown of course.

Men can't live with them and can't live without them.;)

Hope you are feeling better by now:goodvibes
My hubby does stuff like that, I truly think he doesnt mean it but still its

Congrats on the smoking, Im so glad I never started!!
You will sort your wt, one thing at a time!!

ps, cause ive battled my wt for years hubby is off the hook when it comes to easter eggs.

Well done for overcoming all those things that you have - that's quite some achievement to overcome that many things :goodvibes

I agree, if you understand that person then you 'get' their needs.I think you need to clearly spell out to your DH what you expect from him-(although when you are ill they should know for gods sake!) hope you are recovering well

im good, very sore, feels like i have been smacked in the mouth, but somehow feel i have overcome a massive barrier and as such feel positive, kwim?
struggling to eat, well chew, hopefully this will help with the weight loss;)

as for dh, he has been the same for the past 20 years, i guess ill never change him. i just wish sometimes he d think a bit more about his actions and their effects on me... but i guess every wife on here would agree on that one:flower3::rolleyes:

Sounds like an effective diet to me - you definitely have overcome a massive barrier - well done you.

I've always been told you can't change somebody - experience has shown that you can try but they end up changing back again sooner or later. I think most male and female partners will agree (whether they'd admit it or not is another question :lmao:) that they believe their partner could think more about their actions and effects.

Then again, what fun would it be if your partner was absolutely perfect ;) :rotfl:

You've probably heard it before, but it's so true;

"Women marry men hoping to change them, and men marry women hoping they'll never change" :rotfl:

You lot are just as mental as us blokes, but what would we do without each other
