Went to Walmart to exchange a couple of things and then to the grocery store for NYE items and now at my parent's for the rest of the day.

It is and I wish we were coming back....but not yet anyway.

We're actually driving to KY to check out the University of Louisville and then on the way home we'll be visiting George Mason University in VA.

Gail...what kind of school is Matt looking for? I'm just wondering why you would go so far? Is it a special major?

I just dragged kids to the mall and went to three GameStop stores looking for Rock Band 2 for Wi. No luck finding Kevin's jeans (which can only be found at the Gap ...12 slim!) or RockBand 2 Bundle. Came home and ordered 3 pairs of his jeans online and ordered the game on Amazon for the same price as GameStop. (they just used their cash instead of GameStop gift cards).

I could have saved myself the gas and aggravation..lol.
Kaitlin did get some Aeropostale clothes with her gift card (don't pronounce it Aero-POS-tal like it's french....that causes teen eye rolling and muttering ...lol) and they both got books at the bookstore.

I got nuthin' but half an Aunt Annie pretzel.

a good time was had by all however! I will not be returning to any stores until next week when all the amateur shoppers and bad drivers are back at work!

Donna ~ we went to the mall as well today. Molly had a gift card to the Limited Too and she got a pair of pants, two tops, and a webkinz

She also got a book at the bookstore.

It was sunny and pleasant earlier in the day but when we got to the barn to play with Kerry and ride the horses it was cloudy and cold but they still had fun.

Now we're in our jammies watching Horton Hears a Who

I read about it in a local paper yesterday and just shook my head When I was 4 I threatened to run away. I had it all planned out that I would live in the attic. I was 4 not 21

He's interested in sports management - no big surprise to anyone who knows him, huh? The kid kept a notebook of Red Sox scores when he was in kindergarten. Given that he'd like a school that has a good sports program too. UMass also offers the major and he'll be looking there and at URI. We just figured we'd give him the chance to see some of his dream schools - like he did when in Miami - and then we'll just see what happens when he applies.

No we don't have a horse but Molly's best friend does. Or actually her mother does.

Going to the barn is just fun because there is a lot of space to move around and then there's the horses

Matt sounds just like our two stats gurus at work. They love their job and are very good at it.

The one guy keeps lists for everything! He and the traveling secretary keep a list with them at spring training and record the date and time they first spot a license plate for each state. I was in the car with them a few years ago when they spotted a Hawaii license plate. I thought he was going to die from excitement!
