Fell asleep watching Cheaper by the Dozen with the kids. The week caught up with me. EB's still sleeping, wonder if Carol is too after her 2 pints of beer!

Soccer this morning.....cooking when I get back because we have friends coming to watch the game tonight. EB's been invited to a Halloween party too but we're trying to change her mind about it. I have to go with her if she attends....it's gong to be at a soccer friend's house but HUGE....80-100 people. Trying to twist her arm with her friend Courtney who will be here at the house. Any suggestions?

Morning all! Luis and I wound up watching cheesey movies last night for a while... and I felt like I was trying to hibernate under the mound of blankets.

Okay after reading all these wisdom tooth removal stories, I will admit that I only had 2 stitches total for my teeth as well. They had been coming in for about 5 years and were more or less all the way in when I had them removed. They slowly were coming in and honestly by the time I was a senior in HS, they were cutting into the side of my mouth so badly when I played brass instruments that I would have to numb my mouth during concerts. I got sick of it, and the next summer they were removed. So I either had to re-learn the embouchure for brass, or remove them... it was no contest for me. So they were straight pulls and only two minor insicions on the bottom to make sure the gums didn't tear. So I didn't have near the trouble most do

Missy, I must admit that is more thoughtful of David than I ever had been. I dated a lot of the guys w/in my performing groups in HS... nothing bad ever came out of break ups fortunately. (one set of my friends did though, but meh) Good luck to him as he decides.

LOL, Gerri, I think I've seen a few at those tests in PJs myself! I hope all went well! And sadly, I think in a lot of cases you are right... people wouldn't dream of letting their kids do all we did. I am lucky where I live... a lot of that still goes on and kids still play in the streets (hockey usually) Sad that a lot can't do that.

Gail, I have three words... Hot Fudge Sundaes... I'd skip any party for one of those I hope you can get out of it.

Boring day for me. I am going to return something today at a store and then probably huddle in my bed and watch the original Star Wars Trilogy.

I am praying that Dave who is coming to Columbus today won't need to crash here tonight... don't feel like getting laundry done just for him.

Good morning everyone. It was so nice to sleep in a little today.

Andrew has 2 soccer games to ref starting at 10:30. Luckily they are close. Then he wants to go to a pick up softball game with the band. I want to go shopping tonight with him and DH so Andrew can get clothes for Homecoming and a few other things.

UMD / NCS football on TV at 3:30. Wish I could be at the game but can't do everything. Jack went to NCState so he will be torn on this one.

Just getting ready to take the boys to Blockbuster for a few movies & a video game to keep them busy while we're at our monthly euchre party tonight. Megan will be babysitting a couple of kids whose parents will be at euchre with us.

Hi gang!

Leah is getting all bundled up for her football game this afternoon. Lenny is taking her because I have to work the concession stand today. I think we'll be selling lots of hot chocolate. Brrrrr....

Sue took me out to lunch yesterday at Red Lobster, so I was too stuffed to go out to dinner last night for my birthday. We will do that today after concession stand duty.

I'm having Lorraine, Sue, and my friend Bonnie and families over for the Steeler game tomorrow. Should be lots of good food!

Morning All!

What a chilly, chilly day. Brendan had soccer at 8:30 this morning and it was cold and rainy. My hands were frozen. He came home and took a hot shower for 1/2 hour! My IL's are coming over shortly to celebrate my b'day. We are going to T.G.I.Friday's for lunch and then coming back here for Dairy Queen cake!!!! I'll think of you, E!Joe bought me the Star Wars DVD set so that's what we'll be watching this afternoon.

Speaking of wisdom teeth, our mom took LK and I at the same time to get ours pulled! I don't know how she dragged us to the car afterwards - good ol' mom!!!

Question to those recent visitors to the world (so as I don't have to search!) I have seen the pictures from IBM and Mission:Space. Is IBM in inoventions? and which side? Is there a line to get the pictures? I am going to make Pete ride M:S, then I will make him do the video and send to MIL.

I have been housecleaning, not I need to get out the Bissel and clean the carpet on the 1st floor, so much dirt gets tracked in by dog feet and us!

I can help with the Innoventions area!!!!! The easiest way to find it (for me anyway) it to stand at the entrance to Ice Station Cool and turn around and face Spaceship Earth. The Innoventions entrance almost directly across from you (to the left of SSE) will lead you right to that area. There are at least 2 kiosks for the e-mail photos and there was never really a line when we were there.

We didn't stop in Mission Space after our ride to look for that photo spot.

Marsha, as Gail said, IBM postcards are in Innoventions West. I haven't ever had to wait very long to do them. In M:S as soon as you walk down the hallway at the end, the area to do the postcards there are immediately to your left. You can always go and do one of your own too w/o having to ride it

Life is good... I had a brownie explosion from DQ and I am now all snuggled in bed with my laptop, bunches of blankets and Gwenie... watching a letterbox version of the *original* cut of Star Wars on DVD... have all three plus a bonus DVD to watch today
