Going to the IL's tonight to celebrate my MIL b'day - it was on Sunday when we had Shannon's party. I've had so much b'day cake this last week. I brought the rest of Shannon's cake into work today.

Thanks It's honesetly from a picture I took of the moon just over a year ago from my yard. It was a gorgeous moon that night

I've played a couple of the murder mystery games. They are so fun!

I'll take a piece of Shannon's birthday cake. That sounds too yummy!

Cool pictures. I especially like the moon. I had no idea you took that photo. Good job!

Bethany, I really never put my sandals away. It stays warm enough here that I only quit wearing them out from about December through February, but I even wear open toed shoes then if there's no snow.

Took David to the doc. He has an outer ear infection. At least he did this now instead of this coming weekend when we're going out of town.

Found out that North's band won the marching contest last weekend. David didn't get to go, but out of 5 or 6 bands, they came in first place in all the competitions but flag and drum. This new director works with the band at the university and he knows his stuff. It's looking good for state contest!

I've been hanging out here at home with an 8 y/o boy with a belly ache Poor little guy.

Well, it has warmed up to a balmy 52 here in MI this afternoon.....I have not been able to get warm all day~I'm wearing sweats & a sweatshirt & I'm still freezing!!

Maybe we could have a Dis-Virtual-Murder-Mystery party...................who shall we kill??????

Thanks Missy... I have a tendency to take a lot of pictures and love photography. Honestly though, that moon was far more beautiful than any picture could ever capture.
I hope David is feeling better soon! Ear infections are no fun!! But congrats to the band and their win!

Back from getting stuck with a needle three times... makes for not a happy person at all.

Good afternoon.

Back from the doctor. I guess I'll be around for a while longer. I do have to get some routine blood work done though.

While I was out, I finished my exchange shopping. Now just to get it packed and shipped.

I would like to try a Murder Mystery Dinner. Sarah did one last weekend with a group of clarinet players from the band. She seemed to have enjoyed it.

It is beautiful here today but a little chilly. Perfect fall weather.

Im home from my running around

School conference....Sam is 'academically wonderful, no worries at all' All of his therapists are thrilled with his improvement too.
The teacher shared this story...
There had been a group session with the social worker and a bunch of the kids were misbehaving. After the social worker left, the teacher was talking to the kids about the behavior and what they did wrong, etc. So part way through the conversation Sam raises his hand and very excitedly offers his solution to the situatiuon.....





















'Mrs N, I know what we can do. We just need to have a tribal council and vote the bad ones out of here'
I just about died laughing.

After that I ran to the doctor for new prescriptions, to the mall to pick up Aladdin, and grabbed lunch.

There is a very cool new Mickey ornament at TDS, you push a button and there are all kinds of lights that spin and change colors. I behaved and didnt buy it today, but it will be on my tree this year. We were starting to put out a bunch of Christmas, it all looks great. Nice packaging, stuff like they used to carry for the holidays.
