Glad to hear we have the weekend to pull the packages together. I'll proabably ask again. My mind is slipping.

Boy am I ever glad the tag fairy didn't catch my sausage remark. I'd hate to live with that one or explain it to my kids. Giggle.

E, I liked the last picture once I figured it out. I have to admit that I originally thought it was two modern figures of people. I think that is probably what Lou was seeing too. I wondered what they were doing? Then I saw the squirrel and felt really silly.

I'm taking David to the doctor tomorrow morning. I'm betting it's an outer ear infection. Tell EB to feel better soon! Glad Steph got checked out and will be sticking around a while.

Got photos out of the camera tonight. I have some great shots of the kids. One of these days I might learn to share, but don't count on it. I'm a little slow. Tomorrow night we do the fall choir concert and Scout court of honor, so I'll probably have more. Whew! What a week.

Good Morning! Since I'm in a picture posting mood here is a cool shot I took in our backyard two weeks ago.....

There is an area about 20 minutes from us where there are many hot air balloons at this time of year and this one drifted over our house. He was actually a lot closer and we thought he'd land in our backyard but by the time I grabbed the camera he had cleared the trees to probably land in a field a few blocks away. They were out for several days on the way home from work so of course once I started bringing my camera to work with me they disappeared!

Should be an interesting day at work today. They fired/let go/resigned/downsized etc. the VP of Sales and Marketing at the end of the day yesterday. That was a shock. I feel so badly for him because his young son is due to have surgery this week, too.

Star, I hope your DH finds you a nice car to drive until you get your back. I remember the first wreck Luis had, we waited for about a week to get the ok from our insurance. The 2nd one (just months later) took 2 weeks. When we were up for renewal a couple months after that, we had NO problem dropping them and moving on to someone else. Even though the agent knew what happened, she was shocked when we dropped them

I helped a friend move last night and then dropped my van off at a mechanic's house. He will drive it to work this morning and put a much needed set of tires on it.

I expect a call with some other things that need doing as well.

Don't let them tease you, Lainey..I liked the squirrel! However, you walked into the remarks about Luis all on your own so no help here.

In fact, our normally chaste, demure Angels have been twisting our words lately.

Ladies, it just isn't proper....that's what Lou and I are here for! (Brian and Mike are just too well behaved)

Ill use the sun as my excuse for wearing my sandals. I have such a hard time giving them up at the end of the season, I pretty much wear them until there is snow, LOL
I have my monthly meeting with Sam's teacher in about an hour immediately followed by a quick doctor's appointment. It is so annoying to switch insurance....I have to get to the office to change the records, get new prescriptions, etc. This time they want us to use a mail in service for maintenance meds, so I need ot have him fill that out too.
