Four day work weeks are nice. That's what my brother and father have alwaysed worked in construction.

My very first job out of high school required me to work 3 13 hour days. They were kind enough to give us one hour to make a full week.

Shannon took her b'day treat into pre-school today. she was so excited. Her b'day is tomorrow - turning 5!!!!!!! Brendan has 1/2 day of school today. i'm taking him for a haircut after. need to start cleaning for Shannon's family party on Sunday.

I'm back from the hospital. The tech scared me to death when she said they didn't like one of the views. She meant that it had a wrinkle and they needed to take another shot. They assured me that everything looked okay at first glance. So I'm drawing a huge sigh of relief. Thanks for all the postive thoughts about my tests.

David's Provincial Youth Gathering begins tonight. Youth from several surrounding states will be here for a youth event and he's on staff. I may be out of pocket this afternoon. They have yet to inform me if they need me to drive from the airport to the cathedral to deliver people to the conference. At least Amy has play practice until 6:00 or 6:30.

Our new Gordmans is opening in a couple of weeks. Has anyone ever shopped there? I know they have one in Oklahoma City, but I've never been. I'm wondering if it will be worth hitting the grand opening? It's right next to the Kohls in Moore, so I guess I can make a day of it and go to both?

I get to go to the game tomorrow, Star. Yay! It doesn't happen very often, so I get excited. It's dark and dreary, but pleasantly cool. Hope Saturday is a good day for a football game. (Hope I didn't jinx myself by saying I get to go. But my mom says she'll deal with getting Amy to and from her tryouts for COCDA choir.) Go Sooners!

Cami, aren't surprises wonderful? Just wait, it gets better. My kids are famous for their "by the way. . . " usually followed by "I need ______ tomorrow". This is always said the morning it's needed or VERY late the night before. Sigh. I think it must be in the husband and kid handbooks to make women crazy.

Those of you who are feeling low, please get well quick.

Bad headache is back... well not back as this one feels different, but bad headache again At least I am home now so I can relax and do nothing (not that I was doing all that much work when I took off almost an hour early )

They had a display at the hospital with Eskimo Joe's latest shirt. It's pink or white with a breast cancer theme. If you like EJ, you might want to go take a look on their website.

Groan. Just heard that DS is leading the convoy of several cars/vans to the cathedral in Oklahoma City this afternoon. "No one else knows the way." This from the kid that always gets lost. Cross your fingers that he manages to get them all up there. At least it's a church thing, so maybe God will lead him.

Must have been tired because Luis just came home and woke me up (I had been resting on my bed while listening to music). He's so cute though... hard to get mad at them when they are that way.

He made a couple of wrong turns, but finally got them up there. Whew! Will he ever stop worrying me? LOL! He's a good kid, though. He called me to let me know they made it safe and sound.
