AA...never heard of The Big Show. Im assuming its a country show? If so I havent heard it, we only have 1 country station here and they syndicate a Saturday evening show.

SB...The first time I heard it was on the Rosie O'Donnell Christmas album, but i have since seen the video from Robert Earl Keen (I think he wrote it). The video cracks me up too.

Just back from Sam's first momthly conference. The general feeling is that he has matured a lot over the summer, and the issues we are working with now are pretty minor. He needs work on social skills, conversational skills, fine motor, and inappropriate chewing. But for the most part they said he has settled in very well and they are pretty impressed with him

I'm in the process of making a grocery list. David wants me to make some mini quiches or something that he can pop in the microwave in the morning. I'm looking for a low carb recipe so I can eat them too. Thereby killing two birds with one stone.

Hi all... it's been a day already I have had the same program crash on me a ton today (and I need to use it) and then Luis and I had a "discussion" about what to do with his extra computer (one of the four he has). Anyway, made for a sour morning and I suppose I just needed to blow of some steam before I posted.

Missy, you made me chuckle... I am more of a night owl myself (ask my friends who catch me on IM at all hours ) but I have learned how to either go to sleep at a psuedo reasonable hour, or survive on more sleep myself.

I have to admit, I cannot wait for fall to come... it is one of my favorite seasons. I was just thinking this weekend about going down and photographing the Hocking Hills this year!
I will say, I am not ready for Christmas at all yet. Still takes a bit to get me in the mood for it.

We had a fabulous time this weekend; we laughed, we went bicycling, we drank, we ate, and we took a wrong turn and ended up in Canada.... that's a much longer story than I have time for right now.

Will properly catch up with everyone later....gotta call my EMIL and see if she still has a tin house in Ft. Pierce.

Well folks, tomorrow is the last day of filming and since I am the only person in our group who was not called, I assume I will not be involved in the project.

I think I'll go crawl into a hole in the ground....

Oh wait, we're in a cave!

In fact, North Alabama has a very large number of privately owned caves that they allow caving groups to go into. One day, I'm gonna have to join one of those groups!

SB, I found a few recipes that might work. I'll let you know after I experiment. I'm going to try Scrambled Eggs to Go for the first stab at it, but it may be a day or two before I give it a try. No crust at all on this one. You just bake it in muffin tins.

Gail, I've been having the same problem. It's irritating. We miss you.

And I missed you too Steph, even if you did trample me in the contest. (Gotta suck up in case I need her help later, guys!)

Amy thinks she feels better tonight. Yay! Maybe we're on the mend? She finds out Friday if she's been selected for Leadership. That's what they call the student council at her school. If she makes it in, she can then run for representative of her core. It's the first year that she decided to take part, so I have my fingers crossed.

David finished the chemistry lab in about 20 minutes. That's the length of an overtime, so he could have done it ages ago without all the problems. At least it's done.

We're home - finally! EB & I wanted to stop for ice cream but Matt was pooped so we decided to have Oreo's here - and they were stale!

I'm gonna go sulk, then wash Matt's uniform for the next game on Thursday.
