Good morning.

Glad E and I were able to keep things moving. And she's right. We need to get a life.

We're off to church. A Scout is coming by around noon to work on a merit badge. Later in the day we're going to Mom's to visit while my DB and family are in town from Tulsa.

Amy says she thinks she better go see a doctor today. Her ears got better while she was on the three day antibiotic, but now one is hurting again. Guess we'll do the minor emergency center after lunch.

Septemberfest and Rick Springfield today
Im not sure what time we are headed over there, but Sam is already itching to go get on the rides. I suppose if we went now I could stake out a good spot for the concert.

We are also going back again tomorrow morning so we can work at the BoyScout pop tent.

Yesterday I worked 12 hours and I was kind of tired last night.

We have a family picnic today at my aunts then another party tonight at 8.

Not much planned for tomorrow although we might try the pool if it is nice since it is the last day.

I'm back from the doctor's office. Amy's inner ears are looking better. So is the one outer ear infection. The reason she's hurting now is that she has an outer infection in the other ear. We got a prescription and we headed to the pharmacy. They didn't have it, so we had to go across town to the other pharmacy that accepts our insurance. They had it for only $70 and the bottle is teeny. That's like liquid gold! Glad our usual doctor gives us samples so much of the time!

My brother and family are arriving at Mom's this afternoon. We're heading over there for dinner. She wants our kids to spend the night. I have mixed feelings since they're sick. Will have to decide before long.

Tomorrow we may go over there for lunch, but up to Allen's folks for dinner. MIL is making homemade ice cream.

Hi everyone

G and I got home yesterday and after driving to the city early in the morning sitting in the HEAT and yelling for 4 hours then driving home again I needed a nap. The nap turned into sleeping most of the evening and most of today away.

I LOVE LOVE going to the game but it sure takes a lot out of me.
MP-it totally stinks that my phone decided to act up, but hopefully I'll be a little more organized in the future. This is looking like next weekend against Houston a night game so I’ll have to hotel up.

I'm now sitting here knowing I need to cancel my cruise for this week but just can't bring myself to do it. I know that in all likelihood, it will not get re-booked . The Dh keeps saying that he doesn't care about the price change but I got such a great deal it will be hard for me to enjoy something that I paid double the original price for. I guess I'm a tightwad at heart lol

I'm also disappointed for my parents the day we were to set sail (9th) is their anniversary. I'm also concerned now that my mom isn't working they won't want to spend the money on the trip. Then there is the issue of g's schedule and pulling him from school. If I re-book for a break i.e. fall or thanksgiving or even Christmas the price is going to be triple.

*sigh* decisions, decisions...

What do you guys think.....should I just chalk it up to wasn't meant to be??

So I don't post for a few hours and it is noticed I am not checking in? I really do need a life

Just got back from my Dad's. Had a nice cook out there and talked to my brother some while I was there (he called while visiting his in-laws in AZ) Feel a bit run down today, so I am taking it easy. Starting to price out a new computer for me... long story short, I just have this feeling that I will be needing a new desktop and really I think with the way life is going, I want to be able to use the laptop less and hook this up to a new desktop so I can transfer more easily. I'll have Luis price it out for me this weekend I think.

Star, I wish I new what to tell you about the cruise... my gut would probably say it just wasn't meant to be... I'm weird though... and it is good I have Luis around or we'd never do some things (like buy this house). I'm also tight with money... I'd probably sleep on it one night and go with my very first thought I had that morning about it. Sorry though you have to decide
