Okay, so here is the latest traveling Angel update...

Dan got the heck out of there as did Sue and her family so it was just , MIL, and the little s. They were all sleeping when she called (no doubt she bored them to death. I mean, who sleeps at 4:30 when they're at Disney???)

She said it was sad to see trees down etc at AK but she felt they did a good job considering. The CMs were on overdrive from working long demanding hours and many lost their homes.

Her and LK saw each other at the 50's as well as CRT. Seems like LK isn't feeling the magic yet as they got there right after the brunt of the chaos. Hopefully things have gotten better for them.

At one point she said, "this guy in the hot tub told me....". I said, wait a minute back up. What guy in what hot tub???? She then mentioned his wife and Sue were there as well (as if that made it better as to where my mind was going... ). She immediately realized she'd be reading those words when she returned......

Oh and one final thing......if you IM her phone, make sure you write more than just "Hey". Seems that I kept just IMing "Hey" to see if she was on thinking that if she wasn't she wouldn't see them. She saw them. I had to listen to, "don't you have anything else to say except hey?" Meow?

Good job avoiding the word laundry Bethany!

if only I could avoid the task as well....still have a giant basket full of clothes to put away. Its such a viscious cycle...clean it, put it away, wear it, wash it, put it away.....why cant we have disposable clothes? Heck, half the stuff you buy now is only a step above disposable.
And while we are doing or avoiding laundry....oh nevermind, this is about to go into TMI

Gail, just IM her ID. If she is on, she will reply. If she is not on she will see the IM when she goes on. When a phone is IM enabled you can't tell if the person is on because it looks like they are always on. Their id is active with a phone icon next to it.

I got home after the plumber had been here and now we have a hole about 12 X 18 inches over the kitchen table with a lovely view of the shower drain. I hope the leak if finally fixed.

Star, I always enjoy the Staples commercials. That one is funny.

Jack took Andrew to Old Navy on Saturday and he was able to get some jeans shorts to fit. Thankfully he won't have to go to school pantless next week.

It is not just you, the patients, that have trouble getting through. With only a few exceptions, the ortho surgeons are the hardest for me to try to get a hold of to discuss a patient's care.
