The sun is out here, but it is still a tad chilly. Lazy day of cleaning around here. Shannon went to the last day of VBS last night and won a t-shirt and a cassette of the bible camp songs. She was so happy.

I got a call from Donna again this morning......she said that there is a lot of debris everywhere.......in the pool, piled up against some of the hotel room doors, on the pathways etc.....Epcot, MK, MGM & BB are open today.......AK & TL are not.....apparantly they had to work all night just to get parks that are open ready. She said that Kevin slept through the hurricane but that littel Kaitlin didn't & was very frightened
She said that the roads are supposed to be pretty bad so she's hoping that LK doesn't run into any big problems. The busues are running pretty slow so they're goning to drive themselves over to MGM today.
She wanted everyone to know that they were alright & what was going on there.......She says 'Hi' to all!

Glad to hear our WDW visiting angels are okay. Hope LK doesn't run into any problems. If three parks are open, there must not be much damage to Disney itself. That's good, too.

GLad everyone made it through the storm last night. I still havent heard how my aunt did...she lives in Venice FL.

Working both jobs today...I am really starting to hate Saturdays, but there is no way I will give up either job. I love my discounts too much, LOL

We did go to the Mystic Aquarium yesterday and had fun. It was crowded but it wasn't overwhelming and we got do do all that we wanted. They have a new exhibit that allows you to pen rays and that was fun....although slimy!

My mom did join us for dinner later and that was nice too. Today we head to the wedding, which is being held outdoors in Jamestown, which is an island across from Newport. So far the weather is holding but we're supposed to be getting rain sometime tonight. They'll have tents but since they wanted an outdoor wedding I'm hoping all holds together for them. The location is just across the water from where the Newport Jazz Festival is being held this weekend so we may be able to hear some of the music.

I think I'm going to head out on our deck for a while before we have to get ready. Have a nice Saturday everyone!

Just ate at the Olive Garden - I'm stuffed! Went to Target today and got Shannon 3 pairs of pants for school. couldn't find any decent tops though. Off to find a couch.

I am now officially removed from the "Chopped Liver" list.
I got a call this afternoon from Donna who was on her way back to her room with Kevin for a nap. She had just finished sitting in the "Hot Seat" on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire". She said she was very nervous and only got up to 8,000 points when she missed a question about the Prime Minister of Germany. So, she got a hat and a lanyard with 5 pins and she was as happy as she could be. We talked (she talked) for about 15 mins. when the signal dropped. So, i went back to putting my computers back together, except I guess we weren't (she wasn't) done talking, cause the phone rang again about 2 mins later and we talked for about 10 mins more. She's having a great time despite the weather and she can wait to get back to see what mean things we are saying about her whilst she's away.
And Lou.....you are on the list for having the audacity to be incommunicado when she called.

Just to set the record straight (for those keeping score at home) I had just stepped out of the shower when she called. I had Gerri tell her I would call back in 5 minutes. When I called back I got her voice mail (probably talking to Brian). I've also tried to IM her phone.
