I was happily (yeah, right!) cleaning by bathroom earlier when EB came home to announce her friend's mom had just bought a tent...a great big tent....and needed help putting it up in their backyard.

I've been camping and I even like camping....but I've never constructed one of these monsters!!!! Anyhoo.....the 2 of us proceeded to figure it out and right now my 2 varmints and her 1 are settling in for the night in the backyard!!!! Our bedroom is near their yard so we'll hear everything and can conveniently yell at them if they get rowdy.

speaking of tents....the same kids that had the pink club house on their back deck last summer now have a 3 room tent set up out there. GRRRR. It wouldnt bother me if it was their own backyard, but they are set up in the common area.
Oh, they also shave their dog out there and never clean up the tumbleweeds of hair.
I just dont like these people. Is that obvious?

My mom came home today with disturbing news. She found a lump in her breast while on vacation. We are trying to remain positive. Could just be a cyst or something, but after my breast cancer it makes you a little jumpy. She goes tomorrow at 8:30. I hope they'll tell her something instead of making her worry for days.

Uncle Ron had a test today. The cancer is in a thin part of his intestines. Tomorrow they test to see if it has spread to his lungs. Doesn't cancer stink?

I went shopping for a new dishwasher. We've narrowed down the contenders. Hopefully we can decide soon. I'm tired of washing by hand. Yes, I am spoiled!

Popped in here to read quickly yesterday, but had no time to respond. DH and I had to run out to Verizon to drop off both our cell phones to get fixed and make a Home Depot run for the addition, which is framed in already and tomorrow they are opening up the roof!

I got my hair cut yesterday (before the Home Depot Run!) I wanted to get rid of some of these layers. Who was it that talked me into all these layers? Anyway, it's closer to one length now (almost) and kind of like a bob. I Love it!
