You really have to ask yourself, would I behave if the situation was reversed? :sad2: :rolleyes1

yyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhno

Y'all are nuts!!!

Yep I'm back at home... here's a good story y'all will appreciate!!!

So... I call Luis and say I found the key (moved it to a different place from where I used to keep it and I forgot... my mistake) and say just come to work to help me change the tire since I was in a white shirt. So I go out there and start to do it myself... and then I finished by myself... (we live 9 miles from where I work). I manage to get the old dirty one in my trunk all on my own w/o breaking a nail AND not a speck of dirt on my brand new, never been worn before bright white shirt.

So.... I call Luis and say, meet me at the tire place... I see the screw in the tire but it was awfully flat and I didn't know how long/busy they would be (and he was *supposed* to be on his way). So he says fine, I'll be there.

Now mind you this is Sears Autostore (or whatever they call it). It is RIGHT NEXT TO the mall we go to ALL the time (about .5 mile from work). So the car is half way done being fixed and I get a call... Luis is lost.

Yes you heard me, Luis got lost.

So for his trouble I had to buy him a Coke... yeah go figure.

Lesson learned...

well I won't be mean, but I am sure the ladies can figure it out (and if the men here thought for a moment, I am sure they could figure it out too)

So there's my day... going to call my dad to see if he still wants to come over.

Meg was watching SIL's kids today while she was having her wisdom teeth removed & she just called to say she needed to stay the night.......SIL was at the dentist & he was having trouble removing it so he sent her to the oral surgeon who also had enough trouble that he BROKE her jaw!!!!!  OUCH!!

Ouch, sorry to hear that Lars. I hope she is feeling much better soon!

One day, when a seamstress was sewing while sitting close >>>to a >>> river, her thimble fell into the river. When she cried >>>out, the >>> Lord appeared and asked, "Why are you crying?" >>> >>> The seamstress replied that her thimble had fallen into >>>the water >>> and that she needed the thimble to help her husband in >>>making a >>> living for the two of them. >>> >>> The Lord went down into the water and reappeared with a >>>golden >>> thimble. >>> >>> "Is this your thimble?" the Lord asked. The seamstress >>> replied, "No." >>> >>> The Lord again went down and came up with a wooden >>>thimble. "Is >>> this your thimble?" the Lord asked. Again, the seamstress >>>replied, >>> "No." >>> >>> The Lord went down again and came up with a silver >>>thimble. "Is >>> this your thimble?" the Lord asked. The seamstress >>>replied, "Yes." >>> >>> The Lord was pleased with the woman's honesty and gave >>>her all >>> three thimbles to keep, and the seamstress went home >>>happy. >>> >>> Some time later, the seamstress was walking with her >>>husband along >>> the riverbank, and her husband fell into the river. When >>>she cried >>> out, The Lord again appeared and asked her, Why are you >>>crying?" >>> "Oh Lord, my husband has fallen into the water!" >>> >>> The Lord went down into the water and came up with Mel >>>Gibson. "Is >>> this your husband?" the Lord asked. "Yes," cried the >>>seamstress. >>> >>> The Lord was furious. "You lied! That is an untruth!" The >>> seamstress replied, "Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It is a >>> misunderstanding. You see, if I had said 'no' to Mel >>>Gibson, >>> you would have come up with Tom Cruise. Then if I said >>>'no' to >>> him, you would have come up with my husband. Had I then >>> said 'yes,' you would have given me all three. Lord, I'm >>>not in >>> the best of health and would not be able to take care of >>>all >>> three husbands, so THAT'S why I said 'yes' to Mel >>>Gibson." >>> >>> The moral of this story is: Whenever a woman lies, it's >>>for a good >>> and Honourable reason, and for the benefit of others. >>>That's our >>> story, and we're sticking to it.

:teeth: :teeth:

Man, would I be PO'd at that oral surgeon!

Mike :rotfl: True, so true!

E - I think your bad luck has followed me here. Leah asked me to open a brand new jar of pickles for her while I'm sitting here at the computer. Opened the jar and pickle juice spills everywhere. Yick! After I clean that up, I spill my glass of water all over the computer desk. Grrrrrrr.....

:rotfl:
SO true Mike, so true!!!!

LK, sorry about your luck. Hopefully your evening will go better

So what have we learned today?

Well it started out as a normal(?) day on the Angel thread. Melissa UK telling us about the underground riddle she is running, Alan being afraid of headhunters and Lars, LK and Star debating the many faces of Tom.

Then Steph posted a picture of her little Angel Meg. That mischievous glint in her eye seemed to set off a chain of humorous events......

First, my DW gerribon posted on the thread. A few things you should know....she loves Disney like the rest of us, is still getting the hang of these computers, is sometimes far worse than I am  and will throw underwear into a conversation just for laughs.

Then LK saw London, France and my underpants. She promptly lost her lunch. (#24??? 24??? anyone??? Bueller??)

Gail then offered legal services, not to her friend of over 3,000 posts but to her newest friend with 1 post. (I know you all belong to some club somewhere.)

Bethany got so excited at the prospects of this that she ditched being wasted away in margaritaville just to join in the fun.

Donna asked the words I didn't think would ever be spoken on this thread....boxers or briefs? I won't tell you in a PM and I'm not about to tell here either!

Lorraine was nice enough to look for some super smiley undies for me. Gee, thanks.

Star was even nicer as she went for the "action" Spidey ones. Gee, double thanks.

Alan, who should have been on my side through all of this, deserted me in my time of need. If your underwear is ever the topic of discussion around here, you're on your own! Worse than that though was when he felt he had to behave because I acknowledged his "sensitive" thread elsewhere on the board. Hey don't go all "Brian" on me, okay? It was a smile not a hug or anything....

And speaking of Brian....the true gentleman that he is...refrained from any comments (although I know it is killing him and I even told him to let it out so he'd feel better.)

Mike on the other hand hit the nail on the head when he realized she lied just to get laughs from everyone....::yes::

E! got a flat tire and didn't call me (who'da thunk it?)

Steph and Lars got so mad because the Math formula I posted which was harder than the morning riddle proved it is not only the twins that are evil but all women, that they decided to go to WDW together in February and leave us riddlers in a lurch. We'll show them.....we'll just all go down there too!

And finally, what did I learn? Well after four pages of a free for all, I turned to Gerri and said, "Isn't it fun to make people laugh?" :p

Wait, I already knew that  Oh well, then I guess I haven't learned anything today. Like I said in the beginning....just a normal(?) day....

Lou.......as usual :worship: :worship: :worship:

one teeny tiny boo boo though......I posted mmmeeegggs picture:D

Ever since you two changed your avatars :rolleyes1 I keep getting you mixed up. :p

Actually, Gerri gets the :worship: :worship: :worship: this time for causing all of the ruckus.

Gerri...........:worship: :worship: anyone who stirs up that much trouble is okay with me:D

I am glad to see nothing has changed around here.

Thanks for the Lou-cap, Lou.

:jester: Gee, and skivvies seemed like such an unassuming little word! Who, would have thought it could cause such a ruckus!!!

3 nights ago I was outside, in shorts, watching Wishes from the 4th floor terrace at the Contemporary.

Tonight I'm home, it's 65 degrees and raining, and I'm wearing sweats. :(

 Had I known using gerribon as a sign on name was going to get me a Jerry Hall and a Jon Bon Jovi in the yearbook  I would have chosen more wisely I think......:rolleyes1

Lou: excellent recap! :teeth: ::yes:: .....I knew I would miss all the fun if I left! LOL!

Gerri....you just never know what will set this group of wackos off and running......:hyper: :teeth: Welcome to Bedlam!

Gail:  nothing worse than the week after your wonderful trip! I feel your pain! ::yes::

Mike: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ( I would have picked Mel too!..yep..for all those reasons....uh huh!);)

ahem....did we forget there is another riddlemistress who could pick up the slack when the evil ones go to Disney?:( .....It would serve you all right if I went too....::yes:: ....then you would be riddleless!;) :teeth:

Had a nice time at my mom's house.....Dad and I made her dinner....(he drove me nuts! LOL).....and he insisted on looking at Canada maps with me.......he can't stand it that I am going and he isn't!....I keep waiting for him to add himself on to my trip!):teeth:

:wave2: Good Night everyone! See you tomorrow on the riddle....

You guys are a hoot. ::yes:: So glad we have Gerri to keep things stirred up.

Yes, I'm on the new computer. We're still loading it though, so I'll still be in the bedroom off and on. Can't wait to get everything back to normal. Keep losing our internet connection. Grrrrr.

Mike, I would chose Mel. He's a doll! I mean for the same reason as your post. LOL!

The kids and I went to the library today. Amy got an armload of books and so did I. David chose one. He's so hard to please when it comes to reading. I've got to come up with a list of possibilites before I take him again. It took an hour and a half for him to find one book!
