Cleaned the bathrooms and floors today. DH staying home wasn't too bad since he did more of the pool work. It's almost filled. Just have to install the filter now. Went to Kohl's tonight and got a pair of nice flip flops for $7.

What a YUCKY morning here in the UK. It's lashing down w/ rain both in my hometown and where I work. I missed my bus due to a stupid level crossing barrier coming down and *exactly* the wrong morning, having already stepped in far too many puddles to mention and ended up having to sit in a cold bus station with far too many smokers crazy2: ) for an hour and a half. My feet went numb and when the bus finally showed it had no heating.

Then, more torrential rain once I arrived at the city I work in and a ten minute uphill walk in it to boot. By the time I got to work, an hour late, my feet were blocks of ice - and theres no heating on here either - aarrgh!

*whinge, whinge, moan, grumble*

Right, that's my venting over, hope you are all well and having a better sunny: ier!) day!

I have an interesting thing today... I had an e-mail stating that they needed to move my 10 am meeting to 11 because of a staff meeting with another person. Funny thing is, I don't recall having another meeting to go to this morning. I pray I don't have two to go to today, yesterday's one meeting was bad enough!

We had some storms last night. Andrew is safely home. Their flight was 3 hours late. We got home about 1:15 AM. It was probably after 2 when my brother got home to CT.
