Hey here's a funny story....this AM on the local news they had a "Breaking Story". Of course it was breaking news but they had no details.

Anyway, it seems that there were several cops that had a car pulled over on the highway and the driver was sitting on the guard rail. As the newscasters were speculating what might have occurred they said "notice that the driver was driving on his rim on the front driver side".

When did this become illegal or breaking news? :rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl: at all of you this morning!

Well, I am off to the pool for kid's swim lessons...and I think we may stay today so I will have to catch you all later! (even though it is kind of cloudy here now)

BTW Star: I can't get the Time Warp song out of my head...thank you very much!;) :crazy2:

:rotfl:
silly people :teeth:

Carol, glad that he made it home safely even if a bit late.

Thanks, Donna, I had just gotten that song out of my head and the mention of it made me think of it again... that and the song (and I know Lou will jump all over this one) where we hear Janet singing "Touch-a-touch-a-touch me... I wanna feel dirrrrty! Hold me, thrill me, fulfill me... creature of the night"

That's okay Elaine...I'm sure these songs will be out of your mind in Just Seven Days..(Maybe six)...

Creature of the night?

Creature oooofff the night!!

I'm sorry I only do cover letters.

Actually Steph, I think what E! has written here will land you the job much better than what I wrote......

LOL Lou!

Hey E are you supposed to be in a meeting now!!!!!!!!!:hyper:

Forgot to say "hi" to Gail yesterday - cute family photo.

Donna - i think you better bring an umbrella to the pool.

Carol - glad to hear Andrew made it safely home.

Lorraine, nope, no meeting for me... found out only my manager had it, but the way he worded it made us all think we were supposed to go to the first one. I should be heading to mine in 25 mintues though.

No time for responses. We are on our way out the door for our weekend in Branson. I'll be home on Sunday. Don't cause too much trouble around here while I'm away. ;) :wave2:

Merry, have a wonderful trip!!!!

Here's a little humor for you cat lovers:

>to drive the cat 40 blocks away. He put the beast out and headed home.
>
>Driving back up his driveway, there was the cat! He kept taking the cat

>decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge,

>then right again and another right until he reached what he thought was a
>
>safe distance from his home and left the cat there. Hours later the man
>
>calls home to his wife: "Jen, is the cat there?" Yes", the wife answers,
>
>"why do you ask?"
>
>Frustrated, the man answered, "Put the little ******* on the phone, I'm
>lost
>
>and need directions.

:rotfl:

(for both Lorraine's joke and Lou)

*sigh*
I am an impatient person... why do the hours drag when I am waiting for something to happen?

We have been listening to the music for Son Games 2004 over and over! :teeth:

Mrs. AA is going to be doing the story time for the 5 years olds and it is all based on the life of Paul so I have read the stories onto a tape for her to practice. Tonight I will be watching the girls to give her time to practice with the flannel board. She has a small braille label on each figure to keep up with who is who and which side is up! :teeth:

Lela did go to a friend's VBS last week that was doing Lava Lava Island and we went to the final night so heard all the music and saw several games.

So here we are 2 former Rocky Horror attendees working with Vacation Bible School now......

LOL, Star... not sure I should do that... well honestly because my co-workers are the biggest bunch of goof offs I have ever met. Never a dull moment around here. Actually we started taking a poll to see how many orders our "self proclaimed slacker" will end up completing this month. We are a very "wrong" and "evil" group... the time warp would almost be childs play for us

Star - our neighbors church is doing "Lava, lava" later this month. She asked if my DD could go w/ her DD.

E - sounds like a good group you have to work w/!

Lou - all i kept thinking about while reading that joke is that you are the husband and Donna is the cat!

I've been home from work twice today.

Lunch time is normal, but Mrs. AA called just as I left the first interview and asked me to come home for a bit.

Lela took a tumble in the den and crashed into the entertainment center, breaking one of the glass doors that covers the stereo.

One of the few things she will ask me to come home for is broken glass to make sure she got it all.

No one was injured until Lela decided to run her finger over the edge of the glass after it was all over, ignoring her mother's orders to keep away from the stereo.

Now what to use to keep my 4 year old away from my LP collection in there?
