Jr. is going to be at an employee's only function at the Anheiser Busch brewery here in NH on the Thursday before the race. One of our "race friends'" father works at AB, so they're giving us their tix. The event is a done deal, but Jr.'s appearance will depend upon scheduled events by NASCAR coming first...blah blah blah
oh yeah, guess what my DH is getting for Dad's Day??? The Petty Experience!!! Woohoo..

Hi all. I'm feeling much better now. Just sleepy from getting up early and the drive. David had fun and wants to go back next year. 
That was not what I particularly wanted to hear after two 10 hour weekends in a row.
We drove through lots of rain and had another flat tire. What is it with me an flat tires lately? DH changed it while I wrapped in a blanket and watched. I almost froze in shorts! It was in the 60s and very windy. BTW, I saw a Toot-n-Totem and wanted to get my picture taken, but alas it was raining and my guys looked at me strangely. LOL! Sometimes they just don't understand my sense of humor. I thought Star would enjoy it.
Our hard drive is acting up again. Allen is beginning to think it's seriously ill. So we may be shopping for a new one. He's a little crabby that it's acting up again.
Brian the film festival sounds fun, but another road trip sounds terrible. Another time.
Congrats to Steph. Hope it works out.
Amy wants on the internet, so I better sign off for now. I'll check back later if I don't fall asleep.

We took the boys out for pizza. Now we're back home and I'm contemplating my jammies. Jason is going to spend the night here rather than drive the two hours to Broken Arrow tonight. They are so tired.

Had a good day at work.....only worked 8 hours in the surgical ICU...short day!
Poor Sue worked 12 and she was in one of the busy busy units having a rather crummy day....( a Sue day, as we call it!
) I had said to her in the morning....we should switch places ...and she told me later....I SHOULD have switched with you....(glad I didnt ....LY/MI Sue!)have to go catch up...you guys were chatty today.

Hi all... Luis awoke just about 4:30 and so I signed off to find out how his time in Cleveland was. I convinced him that I absolutely needed a new pair of jeans... there was no way my other four pair of jeans fit. So I got one new pair and eventually I will find a good place for my others. They are in great shape and a good brand so hopefully someone can enjoy them. We got "dinner" and then came home and I watched the first Harry Potter movie. Not bad really
