So I was walking one of my patients outside and then we went back into her house. I felt my hair (I thought) on my neck and pushed it aside. A cicada flew off my neck inside the house. I had to catch it and take it back outside. Those things are BIG!

Carol - those bugs haven't found their way here yet - I hope we aren't in the path for them. Yuck.

Loooooong day at the garage sale.........................PITA CIty Ordinance officer took our signs down.....I called the township & was told by the woman there that I'd need a permit to have signs outeek: never had to before)so I went to fill out the paperwork & she said that the Building Administrator would need to approve my application but he wouldn't be back til 3:30.....at 3:30 the head Ordinance officer called to say that we did NOT need a permit just to change the way the signs were hung Hellooooooo......we spent an entire friggin day without knowing this & without signs!!!!!
Back at it tomorrow!

What a slow day it has been for the DIS... I almost give up on trying to reply to anything here!!!

I second that remark.....and LK and SB can back me up. We resorted to emails to each other at work.

Home now but should be heading out in about an hour for Matt's game. Right now it's raining but it looks like the clouds will pass quickly. Tonight's big game....they need 2 more wins and they get a bye for the first week of the playoffs!! Please keep fingers and toes crossed!

Lars - that must have been SO frustrating! Wishing you better luck tomorrow.

Awww Alan... now you have me missing IASW I forgot to get on it (long story) last December and I thought I would get on it this May but it closed early for refurbishment. It won't open until March 2005

I miss that ride....
