Only Matt has seen Shrek 2 so far. We do have big movie plans for Friday - Harry Potter!!!!! I already have tickets and each kid has invited a friend.

Just checking in to say we didn't blow away. We had storms and got over an inch of rain so far. Yay! We needed it. Are you okay Star? I heard that some of the office buildings in Tulsa got the windows blown out by 90 mph winds.

DH took me to see Raising Helen tonight. Then we picked up yummy reuban sandwiches to eat at Mom's since she had no electricity. The power is back on now.

Haven't heard from the kids today. I guess that means they are okay and having fun.

The chicken is kind of scaring me. Although I do admit that I played with him for a while.

I'm kinda with E on this one .........I don't really know what to say after reading today's events!! ROTF!!

I just wanted to thank you guys for wishing me a better day today, all that pixie dust went to work and low and behold it was a better day!!

The AC guy called and found me a refurbished one for 350 (with labor) still not money I want to spend but it beats the heck out of 700!! LOL

The DH and I had been planning to buy the DS a trampoline for his b-day which is on the 8th. My aunt who lives in Texas just moved and needs help unpacking so my DS and I (and kids) are driving down tomorrow night (eta in Norman 8ish, I'll yell HI from nifty's MP)and won't be back until Sunday. I tried to talk DH into getting it and putting it all together while we were gone and it being a big surprise for G Monday morning. The DH isn't very mechanical he's one of those human calculators that can't do simple tasks very well cuz he has trouble thinking that way. I however, have no problems with all things mechanical...... sooooo he didn't want to put it together without me (awwwwwww). We debated back and forth about what to do and finally decided to let G decide. He chose to have his present right then! It was in the back of Dh's demo so we took him out last night in his pj's and let him open the truck since it was too big to wrap. lol The kid went nuts and woke us up promptly at 7 AM to get it together. Lucky for us today was DH’s day off so we got started early and boy we got lucky and it went together quickly. I'm glad we let him jump on it before we put our safety net thing on because we had some MAJOR storms here today, took out windows in the downtown skyscrapers and everything. Just as we sewed the last rope on the bottom of the net it started to rain. PHEW!

This is the reveal, the first jump and then the night jump with his grammie after the rain finally went away (don’t mind his pj’s in the night jump his dad got him ready for bed, nuff said lol).

gonna go bug some other people now, laterz

Edited to answer MP (sorry didn't see your post b 4) I'm ok although we had a ton of fires and other damages in the area. Lots and lots are without power with no eta when it will be back on. We were so lucky thanks again for the good vibes today angels!!!! I'm glad you guys made it safe too!! How was the movie??

Loved the movie. DH said it was better than he expected from a chick flick. LOL!

Wish I could meet you at Classic 50's but we'll be at Scouts tomorrow night until after 7:30 (sort of depends on when the boys get picked up!) and then we'd made plans to have dinner at the Mont. So I guess I'll be at the other end of campus at about the same time you roll through.

Managed to get a fair bit of packing done last night, 10 book boxes, 3 general and a tea chest......but don't feel like i've even touched the surface!

I wish i was coming to the angel meet, it sounds like it'll be a blast, can't wait to see pictures

Today is DS last day of school. He has 1/2 day. They get their report cards next week and will find out which room they are in for next year - I hope he doesn't get some of the troublemakers again. Gotta run and get ready for work!
