That's where I thought the story was going!!!!!

Good Morning Gang!!

Gail - sorry to hear about EB.....it's a SHAME that the only way to REALLY be able to be home to care for her is to go in to work just to have to LEAVE  ... just what YOU need MORE STRESS!!!

Cami - Congrats on the move!!

SB - I did the St. Patrick's Day decorating this weekend as well! (and I must admit....I DID break out the Bailey's in the process)!! :hyper:

Have a great day all!

Valerie :sunny:

Bethany - Looks like I'll need to go check out Wallymart for a Tink watch:) :bounce:

Gail - I hope EB feels better soon.

Cami - Glad your move is over.

E - We should get together and use some of these chocolate chips and things I have :)

Well school starts in 30 mins. so I have to get my plans for today together. We are focusing on getting ready for OPT's for the next 2 weeks. Nick is really stressing over these tests. He also needs to do his test100. We just got test 80 back and he was marked off for several things. He tried shortcutting things and he was nailed for it. (He tried to say 2 sentences was a paragraph:rolleyes: ) I warned him he had to do his best and then recheck his answers, but he was in a hurry for some reason. He is still getting all A's just the scores were low A's on some things this time.
Well off to pull out books and practice tests!!

Good morning everyone.

Gail, I hope EB feels better soon. What are you going to do with her today?

Carolyn, good luck to Nick. State testing is such a pain.

Cami, glas to hear you are moved in.

I have work today, then the kids have dentist appts, then a band booster meeting. Sounds like fun, not.

Good Morning Angels!

A friend of mine from work and I drove to Selma Friday and Saturday (only about 40 mins from me) to attend a Men's Conference.

The featured speakers were Dr. Steve Farrar and Dr. Tony Evans, along with Chette Williams, the chaplian for the Auburn University football team.

I have heard both Dr. Farrar and Dr. Evans at other events in past years, but they are both incredible speakers.

Yesterday we did some yard work. Mrs. AA was raking the front yard while I got the lawn mower going and took out the monkey-grass type stuff that borders the sidewalk.

I'm not falling into the trap of saying any picture with you in it would be weird.....;)

I hate when there are monkeys smoking grass on my front lawn....

Thank you Stephanie.

This is what I slept till 9am for?

La la la la la la la

I hate that song.

I tried to get the new Lion King DVD at Wal-Mart last week, sold out. As today promises to be nice weather, and I have my car, I think I will be going south to Salem and seek it out at the Super Wal Mart.

Alan, is it already warm enough to do the grass? I remember my monkey grass in GA, it was huge! As a matter of fact, Pete drove by the ould house when he was in ATL last week and took pictures for me. Someone has removed all the plants tate were in the beds in fron of and next to the house, so no more monkey grass. The yard looks really bad and the house looks bare.

THat's it for my catch up, I am going to get a shower and see what trouble I can get into.

Gail, poor EB. I'm sorry that you are in such a pickle. It's bad when work puts you in a situation like that.

Tell Nick to hang in there. Testing is so stressful, even for good students. I'll be thinking of him.

I still haven't seen Lion King 1 1/2. Need to pick it up.

Cami, I'm glad to hear the move is over. Now unpack those boxes, okay?

Marsha, I drive past our old house every once in a while. It's always bittersweet. It's hard when you loved a place to see someone else not caring for it the way you would have done.

AA, sounds like a good conference. Glad you got to go.

Val and SB, no St. Pat's decorating here yet. I did pick up shamrock pins for the family since we'll be on vacation that day.

Lou, cool story. And it would have been fantastic if LK had been there as well. Then we'd all be humming Small World for sure!

I think I've caught up enough on my sleep that I'm back on track for the week. Now that I've had my quick catch-up, I guess I'll go check out the riddle.

Page 2 again! What is happening Angels!

Lou - that monkey picture if priceless!

Marsha - DH bought the DVD at the grocery store video place. He doesn't understand that that is not the place to go to BUY a video. He has no idea that they are cheaper somewhere else.

Val - my DH's family who own a little bar are having a pre-St Patrick's Day celebration this Saturday. No Bailey's for me though, I'll stick w/ beer.

Carolyn - good luck to Nick w/ his tests.

Haven't gone to do any shopping yet, but have been on the phone making Dentist appts for the kids, and an eye doctor appt for me. Unloaded the dishwasher too. And DH says I don't do anything.:teeth:

Yeah, thanks Lou...

some people with drug addictions struggle with the monkey on their back.

I have a monkey on my lawn!!

Hi all... a bit busy this morning. Had a great meeting and found out what my bonus is... OMG!!! I am thrilled with it! More than enough after taxes to take a trip to WDW on!!!! Actually could probably swing two with that amount!!!! Not entirely sure what I will do with it all but I am so excited!

Carolyn, I am all for making cookies!! Just let me know when and I will be ready :teeth:

I have to admit, I havne't watchted TLK 1 1/2 yet either. Maybe some day soon!

Yay, E! So when are we going? :teeth: Just kidding. That's great news!

E - what wonderful news! Drinks on on E everyone! I would be excited for any bonus. We stopped getting them 2 yrs ago, but they weren't much to jump for joy anyway.

LOL, Merry, I am not sure when we are going ;) Actually I was looking at my calendar and I can't find much time to really justify a trip until maybe September. Then I could go in September and December :p

Lorraine, when we were told that we were getting a bonus this year, we were in total shock!!!! I missed those days! When I was told the amount, I was shocked!!!! Still am!!!! I used to get these all the time and got used to not having them, so this is such a blessing!!!
