Hi all... I'll steal my catch up from Lou

I will say, wonderful pictures of you guys!!!

I went to see Enrique Iglesias tonight... he is a wonderful performer!!!!!! Gotta admit he is sexy too It was a great concert, my ears are ringing, my throat hurts, but I would do it again in a heart beat

When I was in 1st grade....a long long long time ago....I fell off the top of the straight slide. This was a tall slide. I was actually unconscious for a couple minutes. Anyway there was no teacher to be found outside. It was almost time to line up so I went to the doors and there was teacher coming out. She sent me to the office and they gave me an ice pack and put gauze over the cut and bump on my head. This was lunch recess. Mom picked me up after school and immediately had a HERD of cows!!! I had a HUGE lump on my head right over my eye and a cut on my temple. She immediately walked into the school and gave them an earful!!
Just shows that times haven't really changed all that much in some areas
I do hope your son feels better soon. (and looks better) I would call and find out why no one called you!

Lou - My socks have nothing to do with the bad smell!! Only Nick's socks could smell that bad!! I loved your summary.


I think I am going to go to bed now. We just got back from my parents house. It is Mom's bday today.We talked about the big situation with my cousin. (Cousin wants me to take her 4 kids for a while) Apparently she called mom first becuase mom raised her for a few years. Mom said she was too old to take on little ones besides she is taking care of grandmother. (the equilivant to a 3-4year old right now)Grandmother was on good behavior for most of tonight.We went out to eat and that is always an adventure.
I'm considering compiling all the family stories into a book. I'm sure it would be a bestseller!!!

Just popping in to see what I missed this evening. Wasted 2 hours watching Intolerable Cruelty, even George Clooney didnt't make it tolerable (pun intented)
Looks like I am in for a long day tomorrow. Out of nowhere, Sam spiked a fever of 102.5 this afternoon and has been miserable since. Every time I try to give him Motrin he tosses it right back along with anything else he may have consumed. I did finally get him to wear one of those cooling things on his forehead. He fell asleep and feels a little cooler.
I already called the 24-hour attendance line and emailed his teacher. Even if he is feeling better, I think he needs a day to re-coup from whatever this is or was.
Oh well, off to bed. See ya tomorrow

Last fall, as some of you may remember, Dylan (my 2nd grader) jumped off of a piece of playground equipment & broke his foot.......I didn't get a call....he got an ice pack & sent back to class.....kids even stomped on his foot on purpose when he was saying it hurt Afte he walked home he said to me "Mom I think we need to go to Urgent Care cause I'm pretty sure I broke my foot". I was shocked so I drove him & sure enough it was broken

Bethany, hope Sam is feeling better. If you still can't get him to keep Motrin down, try giving him sips of liquid motrin in between small bites of popsicle or sherbet. the cold for some reason will help him keep it down.
