The plan today was to get up early and be at the parks for 10.00 am, but it was soon clear this was not going to happen.
I woke up at 9.00 France time. Now my body usually as a problem adjusting to losing an hour every time the clocks go forward for summer time, but this time I was actualy losing 2 hours as I had to go forard an hour for French time as well.
So my body felt like it was 7.00 am when my watch said it was 9am. We all decided (me reluctantly) as we were here for a week to take it easy
this morning and not rush so we were all showered, fed and organised by 12.00 and in the parks for 12.30.
Our 1st ride was phantom Manor which was great, this was DS 4m 1st ride and he was fascinated by all the themeing.
next stop was thunder mountain which up until this trip has always been my favourite. We rode and got fast passes for later.
DD's wanted to do Indiana Jones, so we walked up through adventure land, and DD7 found she was way to short for this ride.
DB agreed to go on with DD13 while I sais no way and laughed at the very idea of me being upside down on a roller coaster.
After this we headed to Plaza gardens where I had booked for the Character Tea Party. This was great fun and we were able to
watch the parade from the wndow table we had. The character interaction was great and again DS 4m was very intrigued at all the characters.
We have been teaching him the disney characters at home, and he has quite a few cuddly disney toys and clothes.
The attention the characters gave to him was great.

We had a lovely meal at the tea party starting with the savoury items, the egg and sausage was very nice and we then finished
with a great variety of cakes and desserts.

Unfortunately I forgot to ask for shareholdes discount of the bill however I
found it was great value for money anyway.
we walked up to pirates which was a 5 minute wait and all the family were very impressed with the theming I had been raving
on about.
Next we did big thunder mountain again, before making a hasty dash to a small world, it was 7.00pm exactly and we barely ,made it on before the CM put the rope across the entrance. DS 4m loved this ride. DB found the tune had was stuck in his head all week although this
was the only time he was on it.
DM, DB, Dsis all felt very impressed with their first real day at Disney.
