So...are you trying to judge which of these contestants will be successful based on who on the DIS will buy their albums...or are you just judging everyone's musical tastes?

I believe this group of 10 is the best group Idol has ever seen. If these 10 were on one album, I would really enjoy listening to it.

I believe the best singer out of the group is Mandisa...but I don't suspect we'll see her belting out a Staind or Maroon5 song anytime soon. You're also not likely to see Chris do anything Mandisa would normally sing either. Having said that, I think the market is currently full of guys who sing like Chris...but we haven't had a good Mandisa in a while.

Will I buy the music? Not likely...I have XM radio. Will they be successful? Probably so!

Kellie - yes if she sang hard rockin hillbilly stuff like last week's performance.

Taylor - yes if he sings his own material. I've heard a couple of his creations and they're pretty darn good.

Mandisa - Yes and I don't care if she sings the Yellow Pages.

How do you really know what an album of hopefully non-covers would be like. I wouldn't buy a cd of any of them doing covers. I'd have to see what kind of original music they'd come up with.

Both, really. BTW, in reading these thread, I love how so many women call Kellie Pickles or Pickler, not Kellie. And I find it even MORE amusing that I called Kellie "Pickler" in my OP..... sort aof a Freudian slip...
