Friday am, we head to Edgewater FL for shopping and time with my side of the family. The coolest part of this was I found a mystery box. What was in the mystery box you say? Memories..Apparently at one time, I was organized. I have high school memories, pictures, mission trip pics, old church bulletins, the schedule for our college orientation. (Jeff, do you remember the theme?) Anyway, I was just shocked to see all of this and happy to share them with my husband! He saw pics of old friends he has met and heard of....Mr Russell. there was a funny one of you from the N.O trip that spring break.
Sat around 11am, after a quick trip to see the grandparents, we caravan it to Port Canaveral. I say Caravan as it was me, my Michael, mom dad, sis, her hubby, janie, seth and owen. I must stop here and say that I was close to tears when i took Lucy for boarding...Back to the story, we get to the port to find out we need to park away from the port because a suspicious package has been dropped near the ships. SO , all of the passengers for the Disney boat and Carnival ship are stranded in the heat. There are a lot of unhappy babies but I am happy to say my nieces and nephews did very well and Dad fell asleep in the car.
We are finally freed to park and get on the ship, and we announced to the passengers as The Christopher Family. That was pretty cool! NO time time to look around...Its late so the dining areas are closing as the drill is to take place. We got the old lunch food. It wasnt bad. I did expect my orange potatoes to be sweet, but other than that we were okay.....To the drill I go...must let Lucy out...more updates to follow!!!!

So we get on board, we have eaten, we know where to go when the ship sinks and now its time for the party. The Disney sailaway party is fun, I dont care if you have kids or not! We saw the characters dancing, so many people dancing and it just gets you excited about the cruise. We take a few minutes and go to our room and we are pretty excited. I say we, but I know MIchael was anticipating this trip..Michael, feel free to add your own opinions here as well. I believe we did the first bingo the first day and that is a lot of of. the hosts name was travis and he was austrailian and he could have been a boy band member..In fact, I think he may be Ashley Angel Parkers brother...Who knows...A good time was had by all and we hear to our room to change for dinner. We had late seating dinner so we had to be down between 815 and 830..Kellys kids did very well even though they were eating through their bed time. Janie, Seth and Owen have to be the sweetest kids in the earth and they were so sweet to their Aunt Amy and Uncle Michael. Needless to say, I am ready to go back...After dinner? ...that will be next update!

DAY 1 OR THE NIGHT OF DAY 1
WE EAT DINNER, WE walked around, found the arcade.This was good because all the games were working and you guys know my Michael loves video games..I actually played or attempted to play Ms. PacMan but i didnt work out very well. The ship was so quiet and so beautiful. The Disney ship has 3 pools, baby pool, family pool and adult pool. Above the family pool. is a huge move screen. We decided to sit down and watch a movie. We say down, had a piece of pizza, and watched Around the world in 80 days...Not a terribly bad movie, but its not one I want to buy. It did hold my attention though!
We went back to our stateroom and met our dude for the week. I thought his name was Tomas but I really dont remember. The bed was so comfortable. It was great knowing, I had 6 more days of rest and relaxation to spend with my hubby and family...A great time was definitely had by all.
If you are planning on a Disney cruise, we are very glad we broughtbig cups. Now that disney is doing free soda, you can feel up your cups and take em anywhere. They gave us a nice fridge for Michaels meds.....and it was fun..

Day 2
Key West.
WE get up early. I dont why I have to get up so early on cruises I just do. Perhaps I think I will miss out on something. We wake up, get dressed and have breakfast with the family. Just a light one around 730 since we have brunch scheduled at 1030. Kids are happy. Parents are happy. Aunt and Uncle are happy and baby owen has yogurt all over his face. Seth wants to see Peter Pan. Janie wants to see a princess. Go figure.!
10:30 We head up to Palo's for brunch. For those who dont know Palos its on the 10th deck and its an adult only restaurant with awesome food and service. We get there, get drinks, and find our server from 2 years ago. We hope to have her has a server when we are back on Thursday night..Yeah for Zita from HUngary. So our server, whatever his name is, gives us a tour of the selections and we are seated. We then go get our plates full of cheeses, breads, veggie appetizers things, crab legs, caviar and whole bunch of stuff. Yes, I tried caviar and it wasnt that bad. I am not begging to try it again anytime soon. Then we order entrees and i had something with Risotto. Michael had a special pizza..Oh, then we had this German bread thing..Where its sweet bread with whipped cream and fresh fruit...Holy Cow it Rocked!!!!..WE ate it,..thats all.
We change and head off the ship to Key West. We take the trolley tour which is cool because I found a buy one get one free coupon which means we saved sooo much money than booking it with Disney..Yeah for us. Its a beautiful day and the tour was great. We see beaches, Hemmingways House, chickens (yes I said chickens)..It was so fun..I have some more buy one get one free coupons..Where should we go? Ripleys believe it or not? OKay..So we went..I would not have paid full price but it was ok..We then head out to find some wonderful Key Lime pie..Yummy..and walk around some more..We had some conch fritters and saw some really big fish in the water...it was awesome...Got on the boat..Ran into parents..Saw the sunset..Thought it was beautiful..God makes a pretty good sunset, although some people were disappointed because it wasnt that shiny and it went down fast... It was great.
Went to room to change for dinner and to see the first Disney show. It was called Twice Charmed it was the story of Cinderella is the glass show had been broken..It was pretty good..I love Disney shows anyway.
Dinner..As always it was great..Had a waitress from Hungary..SHe was tiny and sooo nice and was wonderful to the children...We had a great time..After dinner, we saw Rich Purpura..A comedian for adults and he was stinkin funny...If my hubby posts, he will remember much more than what I did..Then it was off to bed...Day at sea coming up!!!!

Day 3 Day at Sea
Woke up quite early. I got up at 630 to be ready to get to the adult pool to save a chair because i know they will all be gone. I know you are not supposed to this, but its a habit. I wake Michael up and we head to breakfast at the buffet.. YUMMY..Ham and cheese omellets rock the cradle of love.. We head to our chairs for just a bit when we see my sister. She doesnt have any kids with her and wants to play Bingo. I think we were going to do something else but this sounded better. We get there early, get front seats and Kelly is chosen to be the Bingo ball counter...This is all good since she gets a free key chain. Back out to the pool (all 3 of us) for some sun...I dont remember everything after today..Kelly heads back to check on baby Owen and Michael and Enjoy books by the pool. Eventually we eat lunch which I think was a sit down lunch at Parrot Cay (pronounced key) restaurant..Always good.. Now I remember..We find mom about 1:30 and decided to watch the art auction. Mom gets a piece of the Red Barren, I really dont remember this character but apparently he is a Peanuts charcater..They had Rembrandt, Picasso and other pieces going for 30-40,000 dollars. I dont remember anyone purchasing, but they had some really pretty pieces including a Thomas Kinkaid..After several raffles, Michael and I finally win a piece of art valued at some amount of money..More details on that to come.!
After that we walk up, refill our sodas and get a snack..Its close to 4-5 now and we need to get ready for show and dinner. I think tonight wa the Golden Mickeys. I think I got the shows out of order, please forgive me. Cute show, lots of characters, kids did well the entire time. I havent been to the shops yet..Oh yeah, I forgot, Michael and I ended up taking the kids to this show (janie and seth) because there parents were at the adult restaurant..how wonderful were they? We get out of the show and get in line to see Cinderella. Janie has her Cinderella dress on and know how to take a picture. We get them changed and take them to the kids club and head up to dinner. Mom, dad, monte and kelly are all at the adult restaurant so Michael and I have the table to ourselves..It was quiet and nice. This was formal night so we were all pretty dressed up. It really nice..Didnt get any pics done tonight but we met some really nice people.
After dinner, I think we get changed to go see a movie. We go and watch Stick It..I cant believe I watched it but I think it was better than Bring it ON, and thats not saying much.. After the movie, we head to bed...
