and we're back. [Walt, Wizards, and....Woolungasaurus?]

Actually bean wars sounds like a great idea, and there is a lot to be learned from them. Cough, cough, cough, history....
:rotfl:

Lol about the counting beans! That would surely happen at my house! With some heavy planning/coordinating/strategizing for a sneak attack and some of them being dropped out of airplanes, etc., etc.!

Once E is old enough for naughty words, he will be listening to Eddie Izzard's routines for some non-American-centric history/war lessons. :upsidedow

Yowza I'm tired! More treadmill work today, with complicated 2.5 min walk, 5 minutes jog (YES! 5 minutes! at a time!), 5 walk, 5 jog, 2.5 walk...basically, whatever I think I can do, LOL. Now if only my brother would give me one of his used cool watches that track his workouts, I could really keep track! (and maybe fall on my booty while trying to press the buttons, but that's beside the point)

E had his ballet class today, and we got the order forms for his recital in May. Sigh, black pants and white shirt, of course, and also a gold vest. He'll look so handsome.

And then he had his Aikido class, and the sensei told me that he can move up to the more advanced (or rather, non-beginners) class next session. Well that's exciting!

Our condo is being overrun by smallish boxes. We seem to be ordering from amazon an awful lot, or at least more often than usual, and they are piling up! I need to send out more CDs, obviously. Got paypal'd (sure, why not turn it into a verb?) money from abundatrade...still cannot even believe that someone out there is willing to pay enough for abundatrade to give me $9 for....wait for it...the 3 Men and a Little Lady soundtrack. :3dglasses There is some very odd person out there! Then again, I didn't even look at the songs on it, maybe they are incredible or something?

Very cool about E and his classes.

I watched that movie recently and I cannot remember the music being that memorable. Heck I can't even remember it.

I love that you watched the movie recently. :dance3:

Having serious car rental agita. Got the Magical Express documents from the travel agent for the way *to* WDW, and got the ME documents from Disney for the way to the airport, and the docs are so cute I just want to take part in it all. How's THAT for a stupid reason? :3dglasses

I've realized that I have a serious disconnect with the reality of this trip. E and R are bouncing all over the place with excitement and I'm still thinking of it as a business transaction. This has got to change! Probably once I'm done with all the business of the trip I can actually do that. So I gotta figure out the car thing! Maybe I should start the priceline game? Gotta get a few more clothes for me, too. And then...some easily transportable groceries (protein bars), new toothbrushes, that sort of nonsense, and THEN I can breathe easy.

And in the next second start panicking! :scared:

Don't be swayed by cute!! Unless it is going to get you more in the mood for the trip, then go for it!!

Clifbar has their holiday bars out right now. Their gingerbread is so good. I know because I got Scotty some at the store before todays race.

This last trip I dreaded the trip until we were there. And by there I mean the park itself. I am not sure why but until I had my AP in my hot hands I just didn't really feel it. Silly right?

Good point. And if I keep it all, instead of using it, then I have it for scrapbooking! :upsidedow

Robert's preparing to board his plane, and he'll be home around noon Sunday. So that's nice.

I kept the parking lot passes, anything like that I could find for my scrapbook.

That's nice that Robert is on hi way home. I know it isn't easy to have him travel so much.

It's especially not easy to come home to a house that looks like this! Augh! All I've done is go to the Y and take care of E this week! (and a few surveys and peeved some people on the Dis) UGH!

Now we gotta get ready and head to the airport... Maybe he'll be super-tired, will just go take a nap, and E and I can be house elves while he sleeps.

I'm back (finally)! At this rate, I was lucky to get back before you left on your WDW adventure (and I'm including the Harry Potter stuff in the WDW adventure category)!

I can hardly believe your trip is just about here. It was not so long ago when it was just a possible idea that may or may not happen, and now it's almost here. I always say this but I can't wait to hear your take on things at WDW and how it compares to DLR. In fact, I will be anxious to hear the menfolk's opinions, too - knowing them, do you think they might enjoy WDW more than DLR, or do you think they will be clamoring to go back to DLR after such an exhausting trip?:rotfl2: What's your best guess, based on all the WDW research you've done?

I'm not as familiar with how things work on this side of the board, but I assume you have to start a whole new thread for the actual Trip Report? Or can you just post the Trip Report in this Pre-TR thread?

Molly, I hope R had a good flight. And I hope the cleaning fairies were able to do their work.

Sherry, I think that it works the same. I have friends that I follow on the WDW side and they have done reports like we do. But, I have seen it the other way too. Now I have confused myself.:lmao:

:rotfl2: Well, what's a little confusion now and again?

I'm glad for the e-mail alerts when there has been a new post. I read them, and then I always save the most recent one in my e-mail Inbox so I can get back to Molly's thread easily. Things move so fast on this WDW side of town that if you don't follow the link in the e-mail alert, you could be combing through the pages for 30 minutes trying to figure out where the thread went! Sometimes on our side of the board things can move a little fast, but usually not so fast that you cannot find a thread on the first page or two if you need to. Over here, it's a whole new ballgame!

No kidding about that. I have a few threads on this side of the boards and it's whole different world. I love the email alerts and I would never find a thread over here.

And confusion is my general state with teenage kids.

I was checking the rates today for next month and nothing has changed for PPH. I sent you amessage on fb about it.

Yay, it's Sherry! I think you can either have the pre-trip-turned-trip report moved over, or you just start a new one. They are much more strict over here than on your side. :)

OH, hubby wants to watch a movie, bye!

Got paid for those CDs, and spent some of it buying some fun buttons from wackybuttons.com. Yay!

Sick, again. Or allergic. Hard to tell sometimes with me. Dreadfully annoying, no matter the cause.

Oh Molly, you need to get out of the nasty weather and go to sunny Florida for a while. I hope you feel better.

That's an awesome idea! I think I'll do it. :goodvibes

I keep saying to Robert "planning this trip is really hard, I need a vacation...oh wait a minute..." :3dglasses

I did that to Scotty this last trip. He thought I was losing my mind.

Homeschool will be so so so so so different when E can read on his own. I must enjoy this time now, but I will admit to looking forward to enjoying it, perhaps more, then!

Interesting thing about living up here with the view we have...Rainier is a huge distraction sometimes! Especially when the spaceships show up. Uh, what? No, I mean...the clouds that look like they are cloaking spaceships.

While I'm at it...oh no, the mountain is falling! (E took this one)

And what it looks like when we're doing learning work, specifically after he collects leaves etc and wants to study them using Robert's funky little work glass/dohickey that he wanted and got last Yule.

The bottles behind him contain beans, and they were thoroughly washed before being used. I really should take a picture of his work supply area, b/c it's quite lovely if I do say so myself.

I love the pictures. Especially the pictures of E with Robert's light. He looks like a scientist.
