I think that too many people go to WDW without fully understanding how things work. They want to be at, say, MK for rope drop at 9am. So, they amble on out to the MK bus stop at their resort at 8:35. They are surprised to see many, many other people there before them. Then, they have to wait up to 20 mins for the bus since one just left. Then, they have to stand on the bus since they are so far back in the line. They get to MK right at 9am, to find that they are behind a huge number of people.
Soooo, they now blame the awful bus service at their resort for their not making it to the front of the line for rope drop. But in all reality??? They needed to be at the bus stop no later than 8am in order to get right up front for rope drop and the opening ceremony!!! And if you head to a park, for rd, any later than 45 mins prior to rd, you are going to have a lot of company on that bus!! Add an ECV or two into the mix and you have a normal day at WDW!!!
And that isn't going to be different at any resort. They all suffer from that same thing....many, many guests all trying to get to the same place, at the same time.
