I hope my RC peeps had a lovely Thanksgiving.
Mine? Not so great. Next year I'm skipping the IL's, DH can go alone if he wants. if my kids are told they are too picky and should eat more food one more time it won't be pretty.
I would totally skip the inlaws next year...for EVERYONE's mental health!
We had a nice Thanksgiving, just the four of us. My DD's cooked and my DH cleaned up. MY younger DD went back to NYC last night, she had to work today and my older DD is flying back to CA early tomorrow morning. It was nice to have them home

Today, we woke up and pulled out all of the Christmas decorations!!! The tree is up and DH did his best Clark Griswold impression with the Christmas lights outside...but our display came out great!
For the first time ever, I am about 85% done shopping before December!!! I have a few small items to purchase but all the big purchases have been made. Sooooooooo excited!!! LOVE Christmas!!!
We also decorated Candace!!! And I am done with the shopping...except for DS4, who breaks EVERYTHING
uld book CL and cancel the wishes dessert party since we could just watch wishes from the lounge balcony. I am sure even with the party and a couple of breakfasts and snacks we would do better money wise not changing to CL, but I am thinking of the convenience of watching the fireworks with tired cranky kids and not having fight the crowds back out of MK after the dessert party.
Considering we are supposed to be cutting back I am having a hard time justifying it, but DH told me to do whatever I wanted.

Nice change.....hard to go back to non CL...but Melissa...you all deserve it, and it'll be a much better view than from Tomorrowland Terrace...IMHO
Jeanette I am sorry DH was so stressed with DS and it is putting a crimp in your Jan plans Yep, we need to count our blessings each and every day, no matter how long or hard those days are. You are an amazing woman being able to help so many!
Unfortunately this January..I can't meet my RC gals....BUT...
DH and I talked about our Summer trip today! He brought it up, and we kinda went back and forth about things we need, house stuff, car...etc
I laid it on the line...we ARE going on vacation, and I will keep costs reasonable. We ARE going to Disney! And we ARE staying at the GF
I would've liked to book the Poly or WL, BUT the discount I have is only GF, BC or YC..out of those choices...with the new pool, splash area, CS, shops, monorail and boat to MK....GF for sure...Standard View at GF is WAAAYYY prettier than YC/BC...he agreed with me, he asked that I don't upgrade to CL. And I understand, we do not get our money's worth at all...with the fact our discount is over 40%...I am going to try very hard not to change...doubtful I could ever beat this rate. It's only for GV. With over 8 months...I can afford this trip (and a Dec. 2013 Grannie trip
) I am so glad I spoke openly with DH, because HRH and I are already planning a trip to the new Spa
I know, my heart is pulling me back to the Poly....and DH just found out he is getting a nice bonus at the end of the year. Yikes...who knows.

My crazy story...DS was born right after my 17th birthday..DH and I struggled to concieve a second child once the time was right..2 losses, I had given up...then came DS11...then came another loss
then HRH...then DD6, and 5....(they are 11 months apart) then on BCP DS4
We never planned such a big family, we were done after 3...but now I am a Mommy to six. It's not easy, what I am saying is it's not for everyone..but despite planning, and not planning...things happen. And it sounds like no matter what..your family is and will always be perfect for you..no matter what
In fact, we had given up when I found out I was pregnant with her

My youngest son (5) is terrible with his toys. We gave him a DSi for his birthday. One night he decided that it was dirty and put it in the tub with him He said it needed a bath! If Jesse was a girl, there would be no way he would have an AG doll...noooo way!
Yeah Heather, DS4...he broke 3 DS...and he wants one for Christmas...I replaced (and upgraded) for the 3 DDs...but I am hesitant for Santa to buy him one

They decided to open the ADRs for the the January Dessert Parties in the afternoon of Black Friday?!?! But yes I did manage to get reservations for the RC trip!!!

Hi my friends! I've been so busy with work, I finally just had to take Friday off, as I was exhausted. I gave up a day of overtime pay, but my sanity was worth it! I've booked my hubby's British cousins holiday....,11 nights in a Savanah View Bunk bed room on the DLX ddp! I hope his 6' 16 yo son fits in those bunks! Our cousin. Has decided that he needs to take a day and go to Universal to see HP too
he doesnt care about the price.....just said book it! So I gave him undercover tourists website to order a one day ticket.
I never thought booking 11 days of deluxe dining would be so hard....but boy it was a challenge!

O-M-G!!!!. DH wants to book a trip for a Star Wars weekend 2013 in addition to our April trip!!!
He just told me to see what I can get for prices...the only problem, I can't find the exact dates, and we are thinking June dates would be better since we'll be there at end of April...

OH NO!!! I know it must have been beyond infuriating, but looking back you really have to laugh at the innocence and the thought process!!!! I love it!!!!
Honestly, I think that one bad CM put a damper on our stay and if not for that, I wouldn't have even noticed any other negatives.
