I think I need to move to Canada for the time being till hurricane season is OVER!

We are just starting to get caught up after Frances 3 weeks ago and now it looks like Jeanne is going to impact us this weekend around the same area as Frances! What gives?

I rolled out of here around 8am this morning with kids in tow (as they are still home due to the fact that 2/3 of the schools in our county were damaged) to get to Wal Mart to "stock up" AGAIN...and it was a mad house ALREADY! People were waiting in line at Home Depot for plywood at 6am when they opened.

I tell you I am so glad though that I asked my DH to leave the shutters up...that is ONE less thing we will be doing!

Please send LOTS of Pixie Dust this way....

Thoughts are with you and your family as Jeanne spins towards Florida. It amazes me watching from my home in Oregon that there is anything left to destroy. Stay safe.

They are prediciting landfall to be somewhere between our county (St. Lucie) and Vero Beach (AGAIN!!! )
They say it could be a Cat. 4 by the time it makes landfall over night tonight/ early morning tomorrow.

I hope and pray everyone who is in the path stays safe. There is still so much construction debris and landscaping debris sitting around the area that this time around is going to be much worse than Frances.
