I think I need to try and add CHef Mickey's for next year THe boys looks like they were having fun, but tired.

We did the grand circle tour of the monorail resports this year. I think all the construction at the Contemporary tkaes something away from it, but it doens't do much for me.

Man, you guys who just got back and have several updates are putting me to shame!

I'm adding Chef Mickey to our DDP wish list. It sounds so yummy and lots of fun.

I can't believe the flats drank that glowtini! I loved the glowtini. I had to drink at least three during the trip so each child could have a blow cube. I'm a giver... We still have the cubes. It's fun to throw them in a drink every once in a while.

The lobby was sure nothing special, especially with the construction, but I liked V & Michelle's room pics in the past.

Now, I know some of you will be shocked, but we had no time last year to resort hop, relax, anything, so we had never been on the Monorail, let alone to the Contemporary...

Um, yeah. We were wet and tired, and it was probably the WORST picture I've seen of any of us in a long, long time.

We were in the buffet area itself, right at tables next to the food. Woohooty!

ETA: I also forgot to mention that I had called (before the food and drinks came - I promise I don't tend to use cell phones in restaurants, but there was no one next to us yet) and of course by now our new room was ready. I wrote down the number and thought, "Hmmm...."

They were also very happy with the sundae bar.

When the girls and David went there last year they found the sundae bar but not the rest of the desserts

I hadn't realized that the drink bill was also on the DDP bill for tip figuring purposes, so I tipped on the full check total AND the drink only bill. Oh well. The server was good, so...

That's what I was thinking. I think WDW knew I'd become a Focker before I did, because we have always had rooms that were far from everything! We'll see how it turns out in October though... sounds like the curse was broken by a few of you.
