So I've been dialing since 9am (took out 1.5 hours for church) and now that I'm finally on hold DH is throwing a hissy fit because we were ONLY going to stay at Poly concierge for 3 nights, and then hopefully BLT for 5 nights. He wants to stay at Poly longer. I'm sorry, I'm a POP lover, I can't enjoy myself if I know I'm spending $500 a night for a room.

Just 25 min and 14 sec I was on hold, booked and off. MS did an outstanding job once I got thru, very nice and upbeat Brandy got my ressie for THV Dec 6 - 12 very quickly and professionally.

It is easy to get upset but remember we are luckly enough that we are waiting on hold to book vacations and not waiting to talk to someone for a job. Lets all be Thankful that we all work hard so we can enjoy the wonderful time at WDW with our families.

I've been on for 45 minutes now to reserve THV June 16 to July 1, 2009 and nothing so far. My hubby was even dialing in from Iraq and he just gave up. This is our first trip with our DVC membership - so hope to get THV!!

That's what I finally did. Put in my request on line and am wondering if it will count in the order it was made (made my request at 9:30 EST). According to the website, it will be. Anyone else do this? Knowing that other people were calling on multiple phones to make one reservation made me think the phone system was probably going to crash. For about 30 minutes every time I tried the 407 number I got a recording saying that number didn't exist.

After 2 hours 40 minutes of calling and 25 minutes on hold, I actually got to talk to MS. And they were amazingly upbeat and cheerful even under the heavy call load.

12-31-09 Two Studios - SV at BLT ...so new years will be fun! Got the last 2 studios in the entire resort.

11-22-09 One Studio - MK view at BLT... we are going with our family (18 of us it looks like in total 12 of those are children) and we will all be cramming into the room for the fireworks lol....hope we can "Move" around... rest of week all at OKW resort.

8-04-09 One Studio - SV at BLT - Want to be there for "Opening day" and if they move that date forward we will try to follow lol.

Good luck to all of those still trying. We got our SSR for 10/17/10/31 changed to THV. I started at 8 am and got thru at 9:32. After a 25 minute wait, I spoke to a friendly CM and booked week one of our two week stay. My other DVC friend had to book her week because we are linked. I have 3 way calling and could have done it that way but have never used it before so I didn't know how to do it. That put my friend (sorry again, Carol) to having to call and book week 2.

It only took her 30 min to get thru, 25 on hold and 16 to make the reservation.

I have, in the mean time, learned how to do 3 way calling!!!

Thank you, thank you for that. It isn't clearly stated in any of the "legalese" (or at least anywhere that I could find) but when I finally did get through to a CM he confirmed it. He said the reservation I made today by phone will supercede the reservation I made on line.

I made several calls to the 407 number, got through some of the menus before getting a busy signal or getting dropped. The 800 number was all busy signals. After about 30 minutes of trying I got through on the 407 number and was on hold for 20 minutes before I got through to a CM.

I got my first choice -- BLT 2 BR MK for early Nov.

Gave up trying at about 10:30 this morning and just started trying again - it says my wait time is "up to 20 minutes."
