Hi, we already have medical insurance so this is a trip cancellation insurance question only?

I know when booking a trip you get the option to add the insurance but we declined at the time, I cannot find the info now. Does anybody know where the info can be found or do you have the info on hand?

Our balance is due on the 29th so far we have only paid the 200 deposit. Can I still add insurance, or am I better off going with somebody else??

Our airline tickets are already paid so I guess we are out of luck on getting those covered if something should happen.

We don't normally take cancel. ins. out but with all the bugs going around we may play it safe this trip....

I always get insurance.Disney has good refund policies. But if you need to go home early or leave early, they don't HAVE to do anything.Plus it covers the flights. You can add it up to the 45 day mark as long as you haven't paid the PKG in FUll.

You can definitely add it when you pay your balance! That's when we add ours because it's not refundable so if you add it at the beginning and then cancel, you're out that amount, too. We never had vacation insurance pre-kids, but especially with everything going around and such it's totally worth it to me, and the Disney plan does include your airfare regardless of how it was purchased I believe (if you want more specifics you could always price out a package and on the last screen when you book there's info about it there). We haven't actually used it yet, but it's worth it to me anyway. :)

We do the same and it has saved us thousand of dollars two different times when faced with a health emergency.

You can also ADD ins AFTER paying for your trip in full (if you decide too) thru insuremytrip dot com....have used them myself, several times, they are great and cheaper for broader coverage. The trick is to know WHAT you want and need.
I suggest reviewing ALL policies as pre-existent medical issues are generally ALWAYS excluded and many policies have a "look back" period as well....just something to keep in mind.

I agree, in this season of flus and bugs,,,,,ins is a PLUS to have.........
Here's Hoping you do NOT have to use it!! :wizard:
