Anbody going to the Merry Mixer this Friday??

The title pretty much says it all. This will be my first mixer, what will there be to see and do?

I was just going to post the same thing. We haven't decided if we are going to go yet and wondered what would be happening there.

We are arriving next Friday (12/12) and we are planning on heading over there in the afternoon....depending on how long we are delayed in Atlanta.... It will be our first Christmas as members so we are going to check it out.

I hear there will be a secret password and handshake in order to get in... not even the cast members will know about it it's so secret. At the door, you're given three tries to get it right, if you mess up they lock you out and Santa goofy drags you back to your villa by the ears.

Hi! I will be over at SSR for Sunday and Monday nights! BWV is nice and I like the walk to Epcot but so far AKV is still my favorite.

I am not sure what time I will be heading over to the Merry Mixer yet either. I will be at AK for the day. If anyone wants to suggest a time, I am open.

You have two options as far as I can tell.

Option 1. Tour, get some free cookies and hot choc. Visit with the DVC guides and others there, listen to the entertainment

Option 2. Stand in a VERY VERY VERY LONG LINE to buy "special stuff" Seriously folks were in that line for the ENTIRE event! LOL!

If you want to spend money arrive BEFORE it starts and get in line. Otherwise you will be in line for the ENTIRE time.

I didn't ever get anything, I don't wait in lines that long to give someone money LOL!
