I will be heading to the world in 2 weeks (woohoo) for the annual October Orlando trip (4th year in a row). Need some advice on the schedule. We follow the Unofficial Guide pretty closely and can get through the parks quickly with all adults.

We are coming from PA and we have a rental home 10 minutes from the parking lot.

Fly in Saturday and should be in house by 1:00 pm. Just booked 6:00 pm show for Circque.

Sunday - Wanted to do MK, but it is early entry, avoiding and going to MGM for half day. Depending on time going back to home or shooting straight to Epcot for Food & Wine Fest and we will be closing the park down. (Any suggestions for good time to ride Mission Space late in the day/evening?).

Monday - Hitting MK, then home, then Epcot (takes us two days to hit all of the food stands).

Tuesday off & pool side.

Wed - Shoot up to Universal and doing IOA/Universal +HHN. Staying at the Hard Rock.

Thur - Wife and I go back to house, friends are going to Seaworld.

Friday - Off

Sat - Home

Question is, Is it better for my friends to go to Seaworld on Sunday (the wife and I take the day off), and then Thursday we go to MGM/Epcot?

My wife works a ton of hours so I have tried to schedule a bunch of down/relaxing/tanning time.

Don't want to use Friday to tour since we leave Saturday.

Any suggestions and thank you for your time.

That is, take Sunday off, let the friends go to SW, and then go Thursday to MK/Epcot.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for reading the Unofficial Guide. Glad to hear the touring plans are working for you.

I'd suggest touring on Sunday, and taking Thursday off. That's based on a hunch that you'll be more tired on the sixth day of your trip than the second day.

Sincerely,

Len
