Anahiem Plaza or Ramada Maingate? Help (Castle Inn is out)

Ramada is basic, clean and a bit closer then castle inn and suites. Try looking into Trip advisor as well. There will be pictures and other traveller reviews. :-)

I tried for Ramada but they didn't have a room big enough for last weekend so we went with Castle Inn & Suites. (we had 2 extra kids last weekend, we took 2 of our girls friends) The rooms are huge......we had a family suite which had 2 queens in the back and 1 king in the front. The room was nice, the staff was just OK, they weren't super polite or anything, in fact I'd say they were just there. When we checked in the girl who checked us in was not friendly, not rude but not friendly either. We asked 3 times for extra towels (they gave us 4 towels for 6 people) and we never got them, we finally saw a maid cart and just took them ourselves. That was after the third time we asked. They had no towels at the pool either, which was new for me so I did not tell the kids to take towels down to the pool, they had to go back to the room sharing the 2 towels that DBF was able to get from the office...not cool. It didn't even look they had a place that they normally kept towels, that is the first hotel I've been too without pool towels. Finally, with the King bed being out in the front that was where DBF and I slept, it was horribly loud......every morning....kids running up and down the aisle, rolling wheels from luggage or from the maid carts, it all sounded terrible!!!!! Woke us up all 3 days. So, would we stay there again? If the price was right yes, but we would not get the family suite, we would get a room with the beds all in the back and we would all sleep back there, away from the aisles and loud noises.

You cant beat ramada inn location for me its litearlly across the street from the park. Ive never stayed at the castle inn before though.

We haven't stayed at the Ramada. But will not go back to the Castle Inn. One of the worst offsite stays we've ever had. Bad customer service, dirty rugs, water wasn't working when we arrived, and the cable was out for 3 of the 5 days of our stay. Just bad, and will never go back.

Ok, what about the Anahiem Plaza?
I will say after your FYI we will not try the Castle inn.

We stayed at Anaheim one night on a whim when we decided to extend our trip. It was actually very clean and nicer than I expected (it was like $30/night). The room was a good size, and it had a mini fridge, which was very convenient.

Ramada is closer. We stayed there for a week and would stay there again. Breakfast is nothing to write home about but most aren't.

Sounds like I shall be checking out the Ramada.
Thank you everyone for your assistance.
