Anahiem Marriot?

I was just wondering if anyone has stayed here, and where it is located in relation to DL, restaraunts, etc...I will be at a scrapbooking event June 13-17 Will be moving to the Candy Cane on the 17th when family joins me for a few days of Disney. Any info would be appreciated...Never been to the Marriot...we mostly stay at the CC....Thanx.

I like the Marriot. Stayed there a few years ago thanks to Priceline. It's right next to the Convention Ctr so a longish walk to the park, I've heard of people cutting thru and taking the parking tram but we never tried that.
We walked tot he park and took the ART back to the hotel.

The Marriot has comfy beds and there is a Pizza Hut and Starbucks in the lobby fullfilling the needs of either end of the day

We stayed at the Anaheim Marriott, also on a Priceline bid. It was very nice (way nicer than its neighboring hotel, the Anaheim Hilton). The DDs enjoyed the pool very much. You can walk to Tony Roma's, Millie's and Mimi's -- all of those restaurants are on the route to the DL front gate. Our favourite is Mimi's, extensive menu.

The Marriott is about a 15-min walk to the DL front gate (cut through the Sheraton Park). We always walk it when we stay at the Convention Way hotels.
