Just got the hilton for $50/night (3/18-3/25) wondering if anybody has any suggestions about where I should request our room? Is any one area better then another? Any info. on this hotel would be greatly appreciated! How is the shuttle? Can you walk to the parks? Can you see the fireworks from the hotel?

Did you get this on Priceline? Was $50 your first bid? I'll be at DL from 3/21 - 3/25, but I'm not sure if I want to PL something or if I want to use Expedia for the buy 3 nights get 1 night free deal (DL Hotel would be $170, PPH $150 and GC would be $211).

I heard you can walk to the parks through the parking lot. I think the shuttle is included in the price, but parking is steep ... $12 per night.

I did get this deal on priceline, started off bidding $40 then $43 then $45 And finally got it at $50! Not renting a car so parking fee is fine by me! Anybody have any other info on this hotel?

When we were on one of our DL trips 1 1/2 years ago, we stayed across the street from the Hilton at the Anaheim Marriott. [We had hoped to get the Hilton on Priceline but ended up at the Marriott.] We ended up eating daily at the Hilton's restaurant in the lobby area called the Cafe Oasis. The service and food was fantastic. And the prices were pretty decent for a family of 4. Also there's a deli in the lower level of the Hilton where you can grab a quick breakfast before you catch the shuttle or walk to DL in the morning.

In fact, we ended up walking to and from DL/CA everyday instead of using the shuttle. It is walkable--even with kids, ours were 2.5 and 6. About 10 min. However, the Hilton, I believe, has its own shuttle bus for its guests.

I'm posting from my room at the Hilton Anaheim Convention Center right now. The rooms are standard hotel fare, however, call the hotel and ask for a park view room. There are over 1500 rooms in the hotel, chances are you will get it.

The shuttle to the parks is now provided by Anaheim Resort Transit. The cost of the shuttle is $2 per day per adult. I believe children are free. The shuttle is shared with 2 other hotels, Hilton is the 2nd stop.

I stay at this hotel 15 nights a month, feel free to ask any specific questions - if I can't answer, I can find out.

Enjoy your stay!
