Anaheim: vacation homes

im planning a trip to california next july or august
i plan on staying in a vacation home
i was looking at one in anaheim
how can i tell if it is in area
it says it is near disneyland
it looks great but how can i find out more about the area

You'd have to ask the owner exactly where it was. Which one were you looking at? For how many people? We rented one this June and it was walking distance to the parks. We also had 20 of us...

Mapquest it, put the address of the house in and the address for DL (1313 Magic Way) and that will tell you how far it is to the main parking area, well where you used to turn in for parking off of Harbor, I'm not sure if you can still get thru there or not now with all the construction.

Try looking at vrbo.com and homeaway.com. You will get a much wider variety of properties to look at.

Hi!

I looked on the website you provided, but other than one of the houses being in Anaheim Colony, I didn't see any addresses.

The Anaheim Colony neighborhood is mostly gentrified urban. The edges are a bit iffy, but the interior streets are better. I wouldn't leave my strollers, etc. outside. It is a short drive to DL, but not a walk. Try the Original Pancake House for breakfast, it is a local greasy spoon. The Apple Pancake is amazing!
