Anaheim to Safari Park

I have been looking at tours to go to the Safari Park from Anaheim. I can't seem to find one on Grayline There are tours (which we have done in the past) to Legoland, Seaworld, SD Zoo, but not to the Safari Park.

Does anybody know of a tour to the Safari Park that picks up from the Anaheim Hotels like Grayline does? Why don't there seem to be any tours to the Safari Park? Is it a lot further away so not as popular? We did GCH to SD Zoo and GCH to Legoland on our last trip and were not worried about the distance, they were great days and we loved being able to rest and relax on the bus ride back. I've googled it and can't seem to find a shuttle or tour from Anaheim so thought I'd ask here.

We won't have a car and travelling with just mum and child so I can get a bit nervous travelling on lots of different public transport connections in a foreign country (and city). So we tend to just take tours, shuttles or taxis.

But I know my DS would love the safari park (as would I), so thought I would see if anyone knew of a tour. Thanks

You might consider sending an email to Greyline to see if they have a tour that is not usually posted or if they have a company they would recommend if they don't do it.

Your Welcome. Good luck and I hope you can find someone to take you there. If not, you might consider the Greyline tour to the San Diego Zoo

This is fairly simple to do, and cost wise can be cheaper on weekends and comparable to a bus tour during the week. About $30 per person, $20 on weekends.

You can take ART or OCTA(the public bus) from DLR to the Anaheim Train Station.

You take a Metrolink Train to Oceanside, it's the last stop.

You get onto a Sprinter, and take it to Esconido its the last stop.

Then a cab a few miles to the Safari Park.
